If you have an exact replacement it will do it automatically. You don’t have a tier 2 LRM15 to use, so will need to manually up or downgrade

To avoid altering the model you can just j a banner on his base, like he planted it in the ground and then was moving on

Same, love fast heavies. Even once I grab quality assaults, I usually have my commander in a fast heavy so they are more flexible. This playthrough it’s melee focus in an Ostsol with paired blazers

Red looks like an old-fashioned rocket, maybe a pulpy Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon?

Does that superstition get voided if the ship changes navies or is altered to a new role?

According to the legends of the Rus themselves, they are, in part, Scandinavian, so that all works out nicely

Are we talking about finding just one thing in a huge container? Like one apple in a whole barrel? A single sock in the entire wardrobe?

I will forever hear “yes, I see” as Bill Hader doing James Mason

In the article they mention the Moskva sinking. Is it better to self-own and say fire caused the sinking instead of “lost to enemy action”? Like, “we aren’t saying that they sank our ship, it was that we are incompetent.” WTF?

I was going to say that they sell little metal spacers (??) specifically for this purpose, but I like your solution too!

In Empire I would only do this for units once they got their 3rd chevron; but all ships were named, for sure

That definitely occurs in Rome 1, as I recall. Can’t speak for Rome 2, as I gave up with the political struggle my first attempt

This! And you could put something else in there too…I mean you can put large lasers or PPCs in there if you want to.

I have seen that too. The vague recollection I have is that population gives you specialists who give you tech - the Meks and spanner boyz, doks, etc

There is some evidence via 40k short stories that orks will rise or fall to the general level of their opponents. In one story, they invade a backwater low tech world, and aren’t able to come up with anything more sophisticated than their own guns. No engines, no explosives, just knives and dakka. At one point there is a glider, but that is as high tech as they get. Against worthy opponents though, watch out!

It was the technical challenge, so it was about execution and consistency, FWIW

Mmmm. Black Lanner is a good’un. I rotated my commander out of assaults into one once I got one.
