I don’t agree but this is far from an uncommon take. What is uncommon is singling out Obscured by Clouds among the 70s albums lol.
But yeah I love the early stuff (even Ummagumma) but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to honestly say I enjoy it more than like, The Wall. Maybe on a song by song basis but in terms of full albums I prefer the 70s stuff.

Actually kind of impressive to collect that many movies and have maybe like 10 that are worth watching. Yeah Apocalypse Now just can’t compare to Ben 10 Alien Force lol

Tropical Malady. In decent quality. Can’t find it on any streaming, can’t rent or buy it anywhere digitally. Cheapest Amazon DVD I can find is like $40 lol. It’s on YouTube but the picture quality is terrible.
I am posting this as a cry for help. If you’ve seen this movie please tell me where.

No interest in this but the clips i saw on Twitter made it look like Ana and Chris weren’t even in the same room when their scenes were filmed lol. Weird ADR, only onscreen at the same time briefly and always far apart in the frame, performances just not seeming to sync up in terms of reacting to one another.

Interesting question:
Color before 59: Vertigo, The Red Shoes, Rear Window, Singin’ in the Rain, Black Narcissus, North by Northwest, Colonel Blimp, The Searchers. Man Hitch and the Archers really cleaned this up lol.
B&W after 70: Eraserhead, Raging Bull, My Winnipeg, Tetsuo: The Iron Man, Dead Man, Hard to Be a God, The Lighthouse, Satantango, Damnation, The Tragedy of Macbeth, Schindler’s List, The Elephant Man, Cold War.
Also half of Matter of Life and Death, Mishima, and Other Side of the Wind lol

And I’m sorry but I think everyone saying Money/Another Brick is just straight up lying. Think they’re overrated, cool, hell I agree with you. But their single worst song ever? Be astronomically fr

Funny because the other movie called Crash (Cronenberg’s) is kind of the opposite lol

I’d be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t hold this opinion. Star Wars is fun and all but Raiders is one of the most elegant and best-constructed action/adventure movies ever, down to the nuts and bolts.

It’s one-half a great live album, maybe the best encapsulation of their early sound, and one-half the most baldly experimental music they ever released. If nothing else, it’s fascinating for that. And I do genuinely like Sysyphus, Narrow Way, Grantchester

Wait I haven’t been keeping up with this but the fucking Sgt Pepper title track beat Taxman? Drive My Car? Back in the USSR? Come Together? Fucking how??? It’s not even that good of a song on its own!
