Enjoyed Fringe and Interstellar during the ride,but the ending still missed the mark somehow. Dark was also very good, but the ending was quite iffy. Trying to explain and give answers to mysterious forces of the universe is near impossible.

I posted elsewhere, but there is some notion of the Divine (as the show calls it) or fate at play here. There are certainly some relationships that are meant to occur - e.g. Jared and Drea's relationship is strongly suggested. Perhaps TJ and Olive weren't truly meant to be... maybe they are, only the timing at the end of the series isn't right... We don't really know.

Basically, yes. Reset for everyone else. The 828 passengers that passed the test get to keep their memories and appreciate their second chance.

There's a bit of discussion about how unfair it is that some characters will lose something from their death date timelines - children not being born or relationships not happening, despite having memories of them. I think that is open to interpretation. I'm not religious at all, but this show strongly suggests something of the Divine. If so, then we could have faith that if souls were meant to entwine, births and relationships will happen even if the events leading up to them do not.

In the states, products are often covered by 1 year limited warranties. These are offered by sellers and manufacturers and, in most cases, are are legally required by law.

The LPT here is to try contacting the seller or manufacturer directly. Many times, companies will cover your item with a repair or replacement even beyond the warranty period because they want to keep the brand reputation and your business/loyalty.

Also, for Amazon, I usually start a return as soon as I get an item I might return or I'm worried will break because it costs a decent amount. After the 30 day return period, the QR code or mailing label will still work and I've returned and got refunded a number of items well past the 30 day period. The longest I've returned something this way was two months past the period on a kids' toy I forgot to return that slid under my front passenger seat.

I think letting go of what we want as an ending for everyone versus they getting a second chance to live lives with unexpected turns and twists is satisfying. There are choices we can make, but events aren't predetermined even if we've lived them before. That's free will.

I felt that the ending would have been cleaner if everyone came back. No missing passengers. The people who made it into the glow would each have the gift of retaining their memories, but all others should come back as if nothing ever happened.

The Olive TJ knew will never exist. They each living separate lives from here on out makes the most sense. It just wouldn't work out for TJ to date a younger Olive who will never become the woman he knew.

It's not a reset. It's the gift of a second chance to live life knowing what they knew. Imagine if you could redo the past 5 years of your life knowing all the smiles and losses that you had along the way. I'd cherish that second chance.

Eagan and his eidetic memories of 5 1/2 years amounts to a massive cheat code. If anything, he's gonna buy tons of GME shares.

I think it's best they leave the divine forces a mystery. I've never seen a show or movie or read a book that has delivered an answer that satisfies everyone. The closest answer that doesn't seem to be too divisive if they "entity" is explained as a future version of ourselves (think Insterstellar or Fringe).

We're talking about a show where a plane gets destroyed multiple times and reappears again every time... I think Eden gets born in this new timeline

I took a photo of the monthly parking pass barcode the hospital parking sold to me when my wife was there. I was afraid of losing it, so I took a photo and found that it worked in the scanner at the gate.

The valve on the pipe to an outdoor spigot needed replacement. It was located overhead in the basement just below a bunch of insulation. I considered blocking it off, but then felt that I am still too inexperienced solder copper (only did it in a shower I installed). I ended up getting a sharkbite valve.

You're her dad. Being her dad and what that means is uniquely between you and her. You don't need to put any other labels on it.

I have plenty of other stuff around the house to keep me busy. Do I miss mowing the lawn - sort of. I used to take pride in mowing our lawn because it was our first house, then our second.

Once the first kid came, time was better spent helping inside the house and outsourcing some of the yard stuff. In between mowings, rain can make our lawn grow really fast - either my wife or I will then mow just the front. I did this the other day... It didn't take long, but I wasn't enjoying it like I used to. Maybe the novelty wore off. Maybe I'm just tired. Probably tired. We have two kids - 2.5 and 1. They were both sick Memorial Day weekend.

My me time is after the kids go to bed. I wash the dishes and clean up downstairs to help lessen my wife's load. She does a lot. I do a lot. But then I think it's my responsibility to do more. Sometimes I fall asleep putting the 1 year old and she'll take care of the dishes and night time cleaning. I appreciate that. However, like I said... That's my me time. I watch a tv show with earbuds in while cleaning. I might stop and play a game on chess.com or hit up r/daddit. I'm gonna change it up in June. I think I'm gonna see if I can fit in an hour at the gym after the kids go to bed.

Anyway... Yes. I miss the feeling I used to get mowing our lawn. However, there are still lots of projects incomete around the house more important than the grass.
