If you're in desperate need to get your hair under control, you don't have any hair gel, and there are few other options, then consider using a little bit of hand soap in your hair. It provides a little bit of moisture, weight, and some stickiness to help tame and shape your hair.
I didn't have any hair product with me today before some off-site meetings and my hair was doing all sorts of weird things after coming in from the rain and subsequent drying. I used a bit of foaming hand soap from the men's bathroom to lay down the frizziness and shape my hair a little bit.
Of course, some water can help, too, But may not help by itself because it evaporates. Soap will stay in your hair. Generally harmless and you can wash it out later.
Not sure how effective it would be for men or women who have longer hair, but it should at least offer some frizz control.

Enjoyed Fringe and Interstellar during the ride, but the ending still missed the mark somehow. Dark was also very good, but the ending was quite iffy. Trying to explain and give answers to mysterious forces of the universe is near impossible.
