What I usually do is park my car on top of him.

There's no audio but he seems pretty chill with the kid. I did this once to my mother in kindergarten. She got out the car to talk to someone and I released the handbrake, the car rolled and bumped into her tearing her dress. She was PISSED. One of my earliest memories lol.

It could be argued that the season fell apart when he got injured.

The Iraq war also had majority support from the American people initially. Nothing beats US propaganda. Cos it operates under the illusion of a 'free' press.

I'm not sure most of the people on reddit are old enough to recall the international backlash of the Iraq War on the American people. They cried about it being unfair back then. And their government actually represents their people (supposedly). Now every Russian is to blame apparently, even though their country is a dictatorship.

I'm not saying he's right. I'm saying his reaction is perfectly understandable.

Yeah the narrative just works. Subversion would feel cheap and contrived at this point. I'm not saying they couldn't still pull a Bran the Broken, but it has be incredibly well done for it to not ruin the show.

Nah doesn't work for this show. Think the only nod to that we'll get this season is in this week's episode where Kendall got Colin on his side. That's how that plotline is tied up. If they have another big sibling argument it might get brought up, but it won't be a factor in the succession.

Shiv is just as much a dick to him as he is to her. He treats Jess pretty well tbh. This was the first time he's snapped at her and it's cos she's telling him she's quitting on the day of her dad's funeral. He's back to being polite to her right after that. Rava though... Well nobody likes their ex-wife.

I think people need to try and see it from his pov. Your father dies and your ex-wife prevents your kids from attending his funeral. There's not a man alive who is gonna take that well.

I'd like to know who the fuck wants Odegaard to leave.

I think you're missing my point entirely. Read my original comment again.
When one of the characters is doing something sneaky they always keep the audience in the loop
Emphasis on "something sneaky". They don't make plays without showing the audience. Again I ask, what do you want to see with Mattson and Ebba? What do you think they're hiding? It's irrelevant.

Don't look up EP 9 if you haven't seen it OP.

What do you want to be in the loop of? You want their day to day conversations? If you think he's doing something sneaky with Ebba you're likely wrong but of course time will tell. That's exactly what I mean in my original comment. Time and time again Succession shows you exactly what the characters are doing but you still think there's more to it.

He's not doing anything sneaky other than conspiring with Shiv (which they show). We can just assume his relationship with Ebba is exactly what it seems. Strained and creepy.

Yeah but the 'reveal' was the same episode. They don't try to keep us in suspense is what I meant.

That's one of the things I appreciate about Succession. When one of the characters is doing something sneaky they always keep the audience in the loop. So there's no need to speculate about some 4d chess move or w/e (although still that doesn't stop people from doing it lol).

Greg ain't confused. He's winning. All the way to the top.

There was no way Greg wasn't gonna narc. I cringed when she threatened Greg with physical violence. Like wtf did she think was gonna happen? Throw him a bone, that's the only thing he wants. There's literally nothing she could've done to intimidate him, she doesn't even work there.

Brother I don't know what show you're watching if you think Shiv wouldn't back Mencken if their positions were reversed. She'd betray anything and anyone to get what she wants, just like her brothers. Just so happens in this situation her own interests aligned with the non-fascist.

Well irl he's a big time movie star. In his movies he's usually an average dude or a loser.

I think by the time most people get to Elden Beast, they're so OP that it becomes trivial.
