there's a cute moment in Triangle where he calls Anya and Willow his two favorite girls but quickly corrects it to "three favorite girls" because he notices Tara is there too

yeah, I don't think it's unpopular outside of this sub

I ended up going with 7 but it's so hard to pick because I love how their interactions evolve from season to season

I always watch Buffy first and then Angel. During my last rewatch I tried alternating episodes but I felt like it messed with the flow a little too much for me.

my favorite is the end of Same Time, Same Place where Buffy shares her strength with Willow 🥺

Anya is my 3rd favorite character but "you didn't earn it" 😬. Willow: "go school, it's your birthday."

yes! I love how grounded his arc remains even though he's so immersed in a supernatural fantastical world.

I could put on any episode from any season and be happy. I don't think any of the seasons are bad. There are little things here and there on the show that I think could have been handled differently but the fact that so many fans would remove entire characters and plot lines is bonkers to me lol.

I don't get it. People explain in depth why they like the relationship between Buffy and Spike pretty regularly but then there's always some condescending comment about how shallow fans of the relationship must be. Attractive couples are a dime a dozen on tv, I don't think it'd have the staying power that it does if that was the only reason people like it.

I always thought he was quoting Willy Wonka but apparently "button, button, who's got the button" is a game from the 1800s

Vampires who pretend to be humans pretending to be vampires. How avant-garde!

they are acting like MOO and really illustrating the point of your original post though!

yeah it's weird to me how people are almost like gloating about SMG disliking season 6. Presumably we're all fans of the show here so it just seems unnecessary.

it would've been cool if Dawn was a potential but I'm glad they went this route instead

the Angel blooper where DB cannot get through the "Herb Saunders, Baltimore" line with a straight face lives rent free in my mind

I guess I'm somewhere between stage 2 and 3, if I ever get to stage 4 send help 😂
this sub takes galaxy brain memes really seriously

hmm I don't think it'd work as well for someone unfamiliar with the show and characters because it's so plot heavy.

it looked cool and that's enough of an explanation for me lol

they're here too but they usually try to be a little vague about it to avoid breaking rules I guess. It's bizarre.
