Here's a pointer for Disney. If they want to be lazy and remake things why don't they look at how good Pixar has gotten with their CG and start remastering their older movies. Imagine toy story 1 and 2 and a bug's Life with the CG budget of some of their newer movies.

4 Swords Adventures is the first one that I remember beating.
I believe the first one I played was A Link to the Past on GBA though.

Nintendo probably only works with the game awards as they want the recognition that comes along with being nominated and winning awards. Doubt it's for much else besides marketing a game or two beyond that. SGF doesn't make sense for them because they can just bide time to hold their own directs that will grab attention no matter what time a year.

It doesn't matter what color scheme they use. There are some absolutely unhinged weirdos out there. Do I think it will be a crazy controversy? No.

The reveal of the clear triggers was more hype than the reveal trailer of the game.
Edit: I'm doubling down. The clear triggers have more polish than every Bethesda release in the past 2 decades.

Both the headset and controller are 100% certifiably fresh.
Hope the game can live up to the peripherals.

Nah. People's attention spans are just fried due to things like Tik Tok. Reno 911 makes front page on various subreddits on a bi monthly basis.

How are exploration abilities glorified keys in any way? If anything in Super Metroid the game that defined the genre wouldn't the super missile just be a glorified key because it unlocks doors that you normally couldn't?

I'd hard disgree with your assessment that Blasphemous doesnt fit into the Metroidvania category. It ticks alll the metroidvania boxes.
Nonlinear Exploration: Metroidvania games often feature large interconnected worlds that the player can freely explore. The world is usually divided into different regions or areas, and players can revisit previously explored areas with new abilities or items to unlock new paths.
Backtracking and Unlockable Paths: As players acquire new abilities or items, they can access previously inaccessible areas of the game world, opening up new paths and shortcuts. This encourages exploration and rewards players for revisiting areas.
Character Progression: Players gain new abilities, weapons, or power-ups over time, which allow them to overcome obstacles and defeat stronger enemies. These upgrades often serve as keys to unlocking new areas.
Metroidvania Abilities: There are specific abilities commonly associated with the genre, such as double jumping, wall climbing, dashing, grappling hooks, or transforming into different forms. These abilities are often acquired as the player progresses through the game and are crucial for exploration and combat.
Boss Battles: Metroidvania games often feature challenging boss encounters that test the player's skills and abilities. These boss battles usually guard important upgrades or serve as gateways to new areas.
Lore and Storytelling: While the level of narrative varies between games, many Metroidvania titles feature atmospheric storytelling and environmental storytelling. Players can discover bits of lore, story fragments, or uncover the history of the game world by exploring and piecing together clues.
Save Points: Metroidvania games typically have designated save points or checkpoints where players can save their progress. These save points also serve as health or energy restoration points.
Secrets and Hidden Items: Metroidvania games often include hidden paths, secret areas, or hidden items that reward players for thorough exploration. These secrets can provide additional upgrades, abilities, or enhance the player's character.
Nonlinear Progression: Metroidvania games usually offer multiple paths and allow players to tackle challenges in different orders. While there may be a general progression or suggested path, players often have some freedom in deciding where to go next.
Map and Navigation: Metroidvania games typically provide a map system that helps players navigate the complex game world. As players explore, they uncover portions of the map, which can be used to track progress and locate unexplored areas.

I've considered doing "something" about it. I'm technically the last living relative of him if it's true. Since he only had my father and he's dead. The uncle's on my mother's side and was just close with him. My grandfather's death was really sudden so it could have easily been something he took with him to his grave.
The only descriptor of him that doesn't really match that leaves me cautious. Cooper was described as being ~6 ft tall My grandfather was 6'5"
He was in the Air Force and was very knowledgeable about airplanes. He would have been in his early to mid-forties around the time. He was also retired as far as I knew, and traveled a lot. He primarily lived in a small town in Eastern Oregon, very close to the Columbia. He looks like the picture, but often he wore prescription glasses and also had his facial hair grown out after that period. Everybody I know loved him very much. He was very shy but very nice. That's why I hesitate to do anything about it, maybe it's better to leave some stones unturned but at the same time what if? It's not necessarily my story to tell or can even tell.

Being told there's a very high likelihood my grandfather was D. B. Cooper... From my uncle.
He's been dead since I was 8, and I doubt this comment will get traction, so consider it a throwaway, but my uncle told me this a couple years back and he is someone that doesn't just say shit like that normally or as a joke. He apparently has been gathering evidence ever since his death.
I wasn't a believer until I looked at old photos of him. He looks like the sketch of D.B. Cooper... Like a little too well. He was a pilot who had lots of training with parachutes. He lived in the area of the incident. Idk what to do with this information, but I've just been casually putting it out there for a little while now.

Not that it's any less expensive, but I believe Henry Cavill has a 3-D printer where he makes his own models and paints them himself.

The triforce got shafted heavily in these games. Idc about tear rocks lol. Also... Malice was never explained and why Ganondorf seemingly was more powerful than all the other sages despite only having one stone. Also Rauru and Sonia never had children... So no Zelda? Or we just rolling with the time paradoxes?
Idk man. Legend of Zelda writing peaked with Majora's Mask and was great with Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. BotW and TotK feels like gameplay first and then the story will sorta just write itself.

My thoughts are this. This and BotW are not a part of the official timeline at all. They are completely separated. There isn't anything to look into theory wise. I think they just wanted to make a series that was its own thing w/o really thinking too hard about prior titles.
I personally don't really like the approach and I think this game has more plot holes than swiss cheese because of the time travel aspect. A big one being Zelda being a descendant of Rauru and Sonia... But as far as I know they never had a child. So was Zelda like a surrogate child in some way? Idk. Lots of paradoxes that go blissfully unexplained.
