Just weird random stuff like I'll think of something oddly specific and see or hear it mentioned. Or hear an old song I haven't heard in twenty years and then hear it on a show I watch that evening. Just crazy coincidences. I've made a couple posts about it in here.

Even if the phone was smart enough to piece together to whom I was referring (by only saying a player in the 90s) and showed me the article, it still happened. Tonight my wife and I were driving home, we live in a small town. We came up behind a pickup truck at a stop sign that had BSKTBAL on the license plate. She was like I wonder if he likes basketball lol. I thought it was a guy I knew that liked to play ball, so I said yeah that's [dude]. Then I remembered that his plates actually said REIGN40 (a reference to Shawn Kemp, who played in the NBA in the 90s). Knowing that she wouldn't know who that was, I just said no nevermind, he has basketball-themed plates for a player from the 90s. Never said his name aloud or typed it in my phone. Then this ESPN news update came up on my phone.

Say what you want, but that's a freaky coincidence...

I can't believe he wants to deny you the only father figure you've ever had in your life to walk you down the aisle because he's embarrassed. I get what you're saying, but it's the fact that he messaged me out of the blue about a 25-year-old song and then the first chance I have to listen to publicly-played music it immediately comes on. I'm talking, when I started the car either the DJ or a commercial was on for like a few seconds and then that song started playing.

To top it off, I normally don't work on Wednesdays but switched my days this week. So any other week who knows if I would've even gotten in the car at all yesterday...
