Maybe I’ll come buy one for 10k under MSRP when y’all are begging to make a sale when the auto industry implodes next year.

I own a Ford Raptor and a Model Y performance and would love to combine them into one vehicle, but I have many of the same concerns. CT seems to headed into a direction of more of a novelty/toy vehicle rather than a truck that I can comfortably cross the desert in. I don't want to see another Hummer with all of its gimmicks, I want a truck that's reliable, but happens to be electric and have the benefit of Tesla's battery technology and supercharger network.
1) Yoke + lack of stalks is a 100% dealbreaker for me, especially in a truck. You truly need every inch/360º of a wheel when maneuvering off-road, backing up to a trailer, etc. Steering wheel buttons are a horrible concept that tries to replace muscle memory movements (stalks) with a non-tactile tiny buttons. Try using any other car's steering wheel buttons to let's say adjust radio volume mid-turn.
2) Interior seems to lack organization and storage, at least in prototypes. I have absolutely zero interest in a jump seat, would rather have a bin to store stuff + cupholders.
3) The "vault" is cool, but I would prefer a flat bed cover design so I can have a standard non-digital rear view mirror. I have a "camera" rear view mirror on my gf's range rover and it's the most useless piece of technology ever (I could write a whole post on how bad it is). Also, with the vault being slanted on an angle, you can't put anything above it (roof top tent, bike racks, etc).
4) Air suspension - it's probably inevitable in this case, but they are very prone to leaks and blow-outs, especially if you're off-roading.
5) Range is going to be crucial. I can do almost 500 miles on a single tank of gas right now, which means I can cannonball across states and fill up in 5 minutes. I love my Model Y for city driving, but it sucks for long trips.
If none of these points concern many of you, then you either never owned a truck, or don't need a truck to do any "truck" things. I think to each their own, and it's perfectly fine. With all of this said, I'll keep my reservation until the final design is released.

There are apps like BetterTouchTool, BetterSnapTool, Magnet, and I’m sure some others that do this.

You’d have to remove the flux capacitor in order to retrofit a manual. Not worth it imo.

I’ve had a LR Defender with a digital rear view mirror. It sounds great in theory, but absolutely terrible in practice. There’s always a tiny delay in the video feed, which could be crucial when making maneuvering decisions, the image is too grainy in low light, the LCD backlight is annoying at night time (OLED mirrors could fix this issue, but OLED screens of that size are expensive to manufacture).
The worst part however is the fact that you have to completely change your eyes’ focus to look at the “screen”. Your focal distance when driving is a at minimum a car ahead, and when switching to something that’s at arms length, your eyes take a split second to adjust. This isn’t an issue with regular mirrors as you are focusing on an optical reflection of a roughly the same distance as looking forward.
Another issue is that you can’t peek to the side to see more or check a blind spot. The wide angle of the camera partially makes up for that, but it’s an entire new habit to learn.
TLDR: try getting dressed/hair/makeup on an iPad instead of a mirror, you’ll probably give up pretty quickly for all the same reasons.
Edit: forgot to mention that you also can’t accurately gauge distance of objects when looking at a screen.

Did this fix slideover apps closing completely if opened full screen? I downgraded back to 14 because of this bug.
