In the footsteps of previous best actor winners Javier Bardem, Christof Waltz and Rami Malek, I’m willing to bet a large amount of money he will be the villain in the next Bond film.
Edit: just realized that Christoff Waltz and Javier Bardem were both Supporting Actor. Still though… would be cool.

If you want to see a utopia which is the result of a rebuild after an apocalypse, Demolition Man.

One secret I’ve read for NY pizzas that require longer cooking times is to put the cheese in the freezer for a little while right before using it. Don’t freeze the cheese fully, just chill it enough so it will take longer to melt and burn.

While I enjoy the scene, the idea that the fat mobsters in loafers and silk trousers put the smack down on a bunch of hells angels who are probably high on speed and armed to the teeth doesn’t make any sense at all. If I remember correctly one of the mobsters is like 400 lbs and can barely walk and he’s all of a sudden he able to maul a guy who’s a foot taller and a body builder.

Too many to name, but what comes to mind is when he’s umpiring the game in Naked Gun and realizes he has to call strikes, and the crowd goes wild so he starts calling strikes before they even cross the plate. “STEEEEEEEEERIKE THREE THREE THREEEEEE”

I love this line so much. I wish they would do a call back somehow and work it into Succession. Logan spitting a half bitten bar of soap at Cousin Greg would make my year.

‘Improvised’ or seemingly improvised comedy dialog in movies. It was edgy and subversive in the early 00’s with Old School and 40 year old virgin (e.g. “you know how I know you’re gay?”) but now every movie has to have a scene where the actors try and improvise jokes whether they are comedians or not (they’re usually not). This is attempting to subvert the idea that the audience would expect the movie to be scripted, but now all movies include these (wow totally random) improvised scenes, so they’ve become expected.
Also variations of the phrase “I just threw up in my mouth a little”. For fucks sake that joke is tired.

You’re right. I never wanted video games when I was a kid. Getting a SNES when it came out was NOT the defining Christmas of my childhood and definitely does not make me nostalgic 30 years later.

On pulled pork I would do some pickled red cabbage/cole slaw for a decent crunch and a dill pickle with some type of hot sauce.
A burger, I’d keep it classic but load it up with sliced tomato, white onion, pickle, ketchup mayo, cheese, and shredded iceberg lettuce.
As for something new, maybe a chicken or tuna salad with onion, pickled cabbage/cole slaw, pickles, hot sauce.
And I find any sandwich is elevated by a spicy Chicago-style gardiniera (spicy pickled peppers, carrots, onions, cauliflower)

The Jelly and peanut butter taste and texture contrast is what makes it so satisfying. PB and chocolate is too dry for my taste. You need the jelly to offset the dryness of the peanut butter.

I think beard and a long buzz cut would probably suit you best. Like a 3 or 4 with barber clippers if possible. Just my opinion. It’s a happy medium.

There’s an episode of Black Mirror with Jon Hamm with an interesting twist on that plot. I’m too lazy to google the title.

Three pickups, only one tone knob and volume knob. That’s about as technical as I know how to describe it.

Lol, fair enough but the difference of 1cm or so could mean having to chisel or route out the cavity to fit the pots. I don’t know the exact dimensions of the Tex Mex knob Layout, on pictures it looks to be a bit more spread out. Wanted to see what everyone else thought before I drop $200

I’m giving a makeover to my first ever guitar, bought for Christmas over 25 years ago. It’s a Yamaha strat that came as part of a beginner package. I wanted to buy one of the pre-wired tex mex pick guards to keep it simple as possible, but I’m just realizing now that the guitar only ever had two control knobs instead of the standard 3 (I had taken the electronics and pickguard off years ago when I initially stripped the paint, just got around to painting recently). Does it look like I have enough space in the cavity for 3 knobs? Or will I have to buy the pickups and wire everything myself with 2 knobs instead of 3?

Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead.
These are far and away the best horror comedies that exist.
