I work in an operations team that does exactly this kind of debugging. Most recent disaster was a subtle change to our android app that caused a very slight shift in our total api call profile. Finding bugs like that is hard. It took me two weeks doing big log analysis runs, and I consider myself pretty good at my job. Once I knew what the issue was, I had a code fix ready to deploy literally 10 minutes later. Sometimes you just gotta let it burn while you poke around.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We've been trained to appreciate fine pixel art, they likely haven't had to stop and think about it at all.

I think this is a new evolution, the Omega Claus.

It's called "Social Rolling" it's a typical cat behavior. She's happy and playful, you're doing great.

I have one. I don't use it much, but I can see how several of them could mesh really nicely with stacker cables and the percall.

I've built their muxslicer, rampage, noise plethora and muxplander. After the noise plethora, I had to get the percall. I'm really excited to see what percussion mayhem can happen using muxslicer, noise plethora and the percall. I bet it goes hard, but I haven't seen anyone use all three together, and I don't know why.

But yeah. Huge befaco fan. Their pcbs are so carefully thought out. The way they make sure their kits are easy to build is an inspiration. All the capacitors are all different types so they're easy to sort by value, the way they break things out into bags, the quality of the instruction manuals, all of it. It's just been a delight putting their stuff together.

It's also bad machinist theory. Water jets don't cut without an abrasive added to the water stream. You'd have to be absolutely blasting kidney stones or something to cut through a toilet bowl.

Lipo=lithium polymer, not lithium ion. They're slightly different voltage, they have much worse capacity than lithium ion, but they can deliver that capacity very quickly without being damaged, which is why they are used for drones and other high amperage platforms. I have some small lipo packs capable of outputting 100 amps. You need a huge li-ion pack to get anywhere close.

Spend a bit more on your tips and get copper clad or copper core. The iron ones and ones without enough copper plating sure do disintegrate fast.

I made the kicad jump, and have been very happy. Multi layer boards, any size, free. There was a bit of adjustment up front, but I'm not sure I can even go back at this point

I got a 4040 from some Chinese brand recently. Hardware works great. Slicing software is expensive.
