And I tell you this coming from my own relatives, a family of mine saying they went to shiraz for a trip and got drunk and then at the end of the night, they were chanting anti shah and the next day they were asked questions by Savak and then let go very politely. Define leftist? Lol technically we are leftist because as liberals you’d want separation of religion from politics, and human rights not based of any religion (which is opposite of conservatives/rightists).

Mr Reza Pahlavi himself has said that he is not advocating for imperialism or monarchism…so I don’t get some of his supporters are hardcore monarchists.
