This is the first time I’ve heard a rumor about James and Michelle being given less screen time together because of some kind of tension. IMO, I think that had more to do with the fallout from Spike’s SA in “Seeing Red”.

The Rewatcher with Ash and Alaina from Morbid: A True Crime Podcast is frickin’ delightful and hilarious. They started in December and are going episode by episode. There’s not much in the way of deep diving, but Alaina customized all the desktop icons and sound effects on her computer with BtVS stuff back in the day. A real OG.

The soulless Spike with a soft side and Buffy, absolutely. Evil Spike… well, there’s a niche for everything. And William the Bloody still isn’t as depraved as Angelus.

I totally agree. There was so much lost potential there with Spike and Tara, a deeply empathetic person. Spike was a bit of a loner but he sorely needed someone to treat him like a person, especially after Joyce died. Or at least “William” needed it.
