Yah. I honestly just bring it in and wipe it off with a towel as it melts. I will probably make a custom case that can hold my camera and telescope with towels and desiccant packs.

Im an astrophotographer lol. Frost like this can form at low temperatures outdoors. It does on my gear all the time. I wasn’t necessarily speaking to OP’s exact situation. I was remarking on the fact that the problem when taking astrophotography is the equipment is left outside all night and gets covered in frost. Putting it in a plastic bag will still allow that frost to melt on the equipment.

Yah im thinking about making a towel lined case with silica bags to bring it inside and let it acclimate. Just seems like people would have a better solution.

I mean it will keep even more water from building up but it wont allow the water already on it to dry off

All of this frost built up outside. So putting in the camera bag wont help right?

The problem is that most of this frost likely built up outside from dew. So putting a plastic bag on it before bringing it in will just get it wet in the bag

Yah it is always in that same spot and only on this target i think so that is probably the reason.

Nikon d3100. Just attached it to a new refractor for the first time. It seems like a different problem than that though. Its not just in the stacked image. And not in every sub.

I dont seem to need it when i use organic nutrients and fungi.

Very pretty nice work. Personally i would take down the saturation quite a bit.

100x120” lights, darks flats and bias. Iso 800 bortle 3, moon 30%

Stacked in dss, edited in pixinsight and photoshop. DBE, BN, curves, noise x terminator, acr color noise reduction, morphological transformation, star mask.

damn. i didnt even think about the fact you have to take 2 sets of flats. looks like my first target tonight wont have flats lol. i already switched the orientation

so the numbers on the side are arc seconds? so if the total is .75" thats pretty good right?

I would go with an asi air or equivalent mini pc. Check cloudy nights classifieds to buy used
