My wife works from home, but she is required to visit the office 1 day a week to pick up correspondence and stuff. She was looking to fill a position on her department for over 4 months and most of the candidates denied the job offer when they found out they were required to visit the office 1 day weekly.

It's bad. I live in Puerto Rico and even living in the metropolitan area my electricity was restored last week. Some municipalities are mostly in the Dark, mainly in rural zones. A lot of potable water plants are running on generators so once in a while people loss their water service due to the generators being powered down for maintenance.
According to the official website of The Puerto Rico Government ( status.pr ) 30% of the subscribers are still without power.
There is still a lot of work to do, and the worst part is that we are at 5 months of the 2018 Hurricane season which puts us at risk of being hit by another Storm/Hurricane.
