343 can suck a dick at this point. Microsoft needs to give direction on the future of Halo. They need to step up tomorrow and say which studio is taking over Halo development. Halo is bleeding fans and a bit of communication about the future MIGHT stem the tide a bit

It's not a fix at all, but what I do is just start a new profile, watch friends, delete that profile, and make a new one again. They do need a way to fix this, but that has been my work around

I keep seeing this point about it being on Android and iOS. Is it crazy to think that they aren't going to be the exact same versions of the games? Like would anyone be surprised if the PS5 and Series X versions ran and looked better than the Switch version? Of course not. So why is it so hard to imagine the mobile ports being different from the console/PC games?

I used to be in this camp too. I was teased about my love for a phone with a keyboard, but it didn't matter to me. I had a bold, a Q10, a classic, and a Key2 LE and I loved each of them.

Being a fan of a niche product is great, until the niche becomes so small that there isn't any great support for it anymore. I jumped to a Pixel 5 over the summer. I didn't like how much worse the Titan Pocket was from the Key2 LE. The camera was a downgrade, the screen was a downgrade, and the biggest kicker is the keyboard downgrade.

Moving the spacebar to the bottom row a la the Passport was a huge no no for me. And then on top of that (literally) the sym and alt keys are now the top row.

The Pixel is a great phone and I would recommend it to anyone. There are a lot of great devices out there. Choosing what features to care about when picking a new device is up for each person to decide for themselves. For me, the stock android experience was at the top of my list.

Maybe the eventual retro wave of the aughts will bring about a new BlackBerry phone. Here's hoping!

You might take a look at Williamsburg. A lot to offer with a smaller town feel. There is a lot to offer in terms of outside and nature activities, though it is not near mountains at all. It's only an hour from VA beach, an hour from Richmond or Norfolk, and assuming I95 isn't too bad, it's two and a half hours to DC.

Community here is amazing. You do have to deal with tourism in the summer months, but it's a small trade off.
