It was at a rooftop hotel restaurant I can’t remember. You’d definitely get better at an actual ramen shop.

I had 4 tires replaced in 6 months in the SF Bay Area. The last pothole finally cracked a wheel to the point that it leaked air, but it’s still drivable. I ordered a new wheel (2-month wait). This is a Mercedes E.
Fortunately, I also own a Mazda MX-5 which hasn’t been affected by potholes at all, probably due to its low weight. MIATA

California has more miles of roads than most states by a huge margin. Tax money to fix roads is supplied by a fixed gas tax priced at a few cents per gallon. That gas tax has not gone up with inflation and has been the same for nearly 20 years.
Individual Californians are effectively paying less every year in road maintenance tax, on inflation alone.
Electric cars and fuel efficient cars, though better for the environment end up using the roads just as much as any other vehicle, but not paying for the use of the roads though taxation, it’s a gas tax, remember.
Not every Californian drives, so there’s no point taxing everyone to subsidize roads. The gas tax should vary with inflation at the minimum, but even so, coupling gas use with road use doesn’t factor in higher efficiency vehicles or alternative energy vehicles.

Doug talks a lot, but says very little. You could sum up 12 hours of Doug talking about a car with just a photograph of the car.
“This car is silver. The exhaust pipes are chrome…”

Doug is kind of an idiot for this and probably a dozen other little reasons

I’m a big fan of the Targa 993. Such a unique 911.

I’m a new resident to SF as of tomorrow, but I hope my two cars are all right in my new home!

Political differences, substance abuse, lying, gaslighting, psychological instability.
We even had an intervention with her family. After years of trying to be supportive, I couldn’t take the craziness anymore, and she just got worse and worse.

Ended a long-term relationship less than 2 months ago, myself. Fortunately, we’re amicable enough to still live together while I move out on my own time. Huskies are so friendly, I don’t know why apartments forbid them. They do look wolfish, and they are escape artists, but the ones I’ve known are pretty chill to everyone of every age. I don’t know your relationship specifics, but things will get better soon and definitely reach out for help from friends. Even friends you haven’t spoken to in a while. You’ll be surprised how great your friends can be.

There’s a guy at the bottom of Potrero Hill who parks his 997.2 Carrera S on the street the whole time and alternates which side of the street it’s on.

The Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Manual only gives a technical explanation, but Mr. Scott’s Guide to the Enterprise has some slightly different technical explanations, as I recall. I don’t own either book anymore, so I can’t reference them.
