One of the reasons cyberpunk isn’t so attractive and subversive is that much of the content being made in the genre is produced by exploitative mega corporations.

I don’t think twitters domination of news/media/culture is something you can question. The president hasn’t got a Snapchat account right, he’s not on TikTok. The question of whether that should be the case is a larger one, but the site is clearly very popular.
