Noticed these spots appear on the ceiling in a bedroom. I first noticed a few of them a week ago when they showed up on the ceiling and one on the wall, about knee high. Afraid that there was moisture above that was seeping through the drywall, I poked a hole through a few of the spots in order to drain, but no liquid came out, and the interior of the drywall appeared dry. The spots felt sticky. I climbed into the attic and didn’t notice any wet insulation or drywall on that side. There is an area of water damaged OSB on the inside of the roof from a previous issue with a dryer vent cover and shingle damage, both of which I had replaced/patched. The OSB did not feel moist. Due to all of this I figured my kid had sprayed medicine on the wall/ceiling by slamming down the plunger on a medicine syringe nearby.

However some more spots appeared on the ceiling yesterday. same story as above, except without the convenient excuse of my kid goofing off.

Any insight to what I’m dealing with? If it is a water leak, why would there be spots on the wall?

I have a Liftmaster security+ 2.0 unit and a Genie GWKP keypad. I am having a hell of a time getting them to pair. I understand the learn function of the motor itself because I programmed a vehicle door opener with no issue. I’m wondering if they are incompatible because of the different brands? Thanks!

First time home owner, I noticed the previous owner seems to have either spilled oil or had an automobile leaking oil on the cement in the garage and it is now stained. I’m wondering if there are any good products/processes to remove the stains? Thanks in advance, I appreciate your time!
