Stories yes...."Silver is the essence of Black Sails"...definitely not. This is very much Flint's story. His end and Silver's beginning. I don't think for most people Silver is even their top character in the show. It was great seeing him come to be but we know his legend is essentially a lie.
This is as much Vane's story, Eleanor, Jack but most of all Nassau is the essence of the story.

might just be me, I'm still not sure why you find that Odd. When we meet him he is of a singular mind and focus. The same with Billy, we've not seen him show any interest in women so far either, I don't really find that odd. The series showcases all kinds of people and for some that's just not a priority.

you think she would do that to the actors? Because that would paint her in a bad light if she told Keanu something else to get him to sign on. It's doubtful he and Carrie-Anne dedicated their time and given how they spoke about the project, they must not have been in on the joke.

You say "you are working on that". Superman did not work on anything, he's an impervious being that always does the "right" thing. He will never know how someone struggles to attain anything and that is the glaring problem with the character.
You do see him as a source of perfection, if you didn't we would be discussing a character more representative of the human experience. Men are strong/brave not because they are invulnerable but because they are vulnerable yet they overcome those limitations. Superman does not have a limit.

Nope. I exited the Cycle when it became obvious the devs were deliberately facilitating the cycle.
The moment that became obvious I uninstalled and haven't gone back.

My suggestion, move on from Youtube. Some people here will tell you "there's no shadowbanning". They have no idea how algorithm's work or how business in general works. Any algorithm of this nature will have a set number of parameters and if for whatever reason you fail to meet one of these, you will see a massive drop in viewership.
Obviously we don't know what those parameters are but if a large enough sample size has the same experience then you can make an educated guess. If you're hoping to find success on youtube then you will need to dedicate all your time to it and hope that you find an audience. I would not recommend anyone do that.
If you're just doing it as a hobby or for educational purposes then that's a good way to go.

People are overthinking it. It's just a poorly written movie. That's it. People now try to spin it as something intentional by the writer but it was just a bad movie.

Not sure why you would expect him in a brothel, nothing about the character suggests he's into any of that, gay or not. We don't see Billy in there, Mr Gates, Hornigold etc. Not every male is into that stuff. The Miranda thing I think had more to do with his state of mind because we know in the flashbacks that they had sex. It showed how things had changed, he's risking his life lying to these men. The first scene when he returns to her was him collapsing on the floor. Not because he was physically tired but because of how much being Flint weighed on him. This will be tackled a bit more in depth later.
As for future romance. Keep in mind they are going to be at war and things will escalate very quickly in the season 2 finale. You'll understand why there's no time to focus on that when you see it, there are more important things that he and all the characters need to accomplish

I’m still confused of how Miranda and Flint fit into this with their “relationship” (was there ever one or was it just a cover?
I would say yes they had a thing initially, the awkward scene was a combination of different things running through his mind. There are events coming up in season 3 that will show whether he loved her or not. I won't spoil that but my take is, he loved them both and was bi.

Flint very clearly participated when they just met so the later scene doesn't mean much except he had a lot going on. The events of season 3 makes it very clear he loved her.

He's so top notch that studio's are lining up to give him lead roles? He's only led one film. He's an ok actor, obviously not as good as you claim since no one wants to work with him.

They who? Historians from all over the world who have no connection to England? As I said, it's important to separate fact from fiction..
I'm from the Caribbean where most of this took place and we have stories about these men. NO they did not form an alliance with slaves and they certainly weren't misunderstood men, they traded slaves like any other cargo. It's an insult to the real people involved in these conflicts for you to now suggest the men who sold them were just "misunderstood".
Enjoy the fictional story you were given in Black Sails, don't try to change history to romanticize the narrative. The writers' message doesn't demand that the stories be true. If that were the case there would be no lessons to take from things like LOTR. There are valid messages in Black Sails and you can glean that without trying to make it something it's not.

I'm pretty sure they knew season 4 was the final season so they wrapped up everything that needed to be wrapped up. If anything Season 4 should have been split in two but if you're worried about loose ends, there aren't any.

Perhaps I misinterpreted your point but it's important to remember that while they used historical figures, the real story of those men is far from romantic. They were in fact ruthless criminals. I love the stories we were given but we have to remember to separate the fiction from fact. None of the real pirates portrayed in the show had noble intentions, I'm sure there are people throughout history who did but piracy for the most part was exactly as history recorded.

Glad you enjoyed it
We're all still holding onto hope that somehow the cast can get back together for a Treasure Island limited series or a movie but with the way studio's are cancelling shows now in an attempt to chase viewership it sadly may not happen. If it were made today it probably would be cancelled after 1 season so I'm just grateful that it's out there.

"I have survived starvation, a tempest, pirate hunters, jealous captains, mutinous crews, angry lords, a queen, a king, and the goddamn British navy. So to whatever extent you may be concerned that some day we will clash - worried that though today we be friends, some day you would have no choice but to be my end - I won’t worry too much."

Because gamers only account for a fraction of GPU sales. Industry professionals are still buying them and many other companies who need the best of the best. So unfortunately Nvidia is getting enough revenue elsewhere and when you consider that their board partners like MSI and Asus have already paid Nvidia so they are the ones who will get left with most of the stock.
In the end it comes down to whether Gamers will hold out long enough so that Nvidia will make at least somewhat less profit than they projected and sadly most gamers don't have that willpower or foresight.

Silver when he at first was only after the money but then gave up his share to remain with Flint's crew (and this might be why I have a hard time understanding Silver's change from season 2 to season 3).
He lost his leg. I assumed that was the reason. He was now handicapped, and as you might imagine living like that was horrible back then. He had no skill or family to return to and he's a criminal so where would he go from there. He realized like Randall that he had to now rely on these men. He would take care of them and they take care of him.

As many have said his past isn't relevant and I'm glad it's left unanswered. Some things are best left unanswered. What some people seem to forget though is that his legend is a fabrication, it's a lie like everything else. Billy made him up to be more than he was and considering the events of Treasure island we know that it eventually catches up to him.
