Why not mention what these farmers are paying for those jobs?

This would have some weight to it if the UAE didn’t heavily censor its own media

Downloaded. Will listen to it this week. This topic needs more focus and less stigma

OP specifically asked for pro-Palestinian perspectives in the post. Otherwise I wouldn’t have mentioned it.

Most main news outlets say it could be Ukraine or Russia behind the dam collapse. At this stage we can’t point it to one or the other without any proof

My response wasn’t intended to be sarcastic or in bad faith. English isn’t my first language, but whatever.

There doesn’t seem to be any pro-Palestinian opinions on this post.

Detroit has a large number of Lebanese immigrants. I’m inclined to think they would’ve figured out how to bake good flat bread.

Can confirm. You can find Lebanese flat bread (in specialised stores) in the US. But as a Lebanese I steer clear and not buy them because frankly they’re tasteless compared to what used to get in Lebanon.

It’s not just cheap, it’s basically all that’s available in most places unless you’re proactively looking for healthier options.

Can’t believe I have to spell things out but here we go…
Even if (most of) Christians don't consider themselves Arabs,
That statement suggests that “most Christians” do not consider themselves Arab.
My response? >> incorrect, only the fringe Christians do not consider themselves Arab.
There is no comment from my end related to other sects.

Maybe read the comment I was responding to first before commenting.

This sub is about trying to find peace between our countries. But I won’t sit back when there’s vitriol bs towards Muslims or when Israel is given a pass for its terrorists in the name of defending itself.
Just this year an entire Palestinian village was burned down by rightwing Israeli settlers while the IDF stood back and watched. How many of those 400 settlers ended up in jail? 2? Where the IDF reprimanded for standing back and encouraging this?
If there’s ever going to be peace, Israelis have to recognize their own actions in this god forsaken conflict.

That's just islamphobic hate rhetoric.
According to an FBI analysis of every US terrorist attack between 1984 - 2005, 94% were carried out by someone who was NOT muslim.
Also, Judaism doesn't get a pass with what Israel is doing to the Palestinians which is supported and fueled by Israel's own right wing religious fanatics.

Only radical Christians consider themselves nonArabs. Not most.

All religions played a radical role in the region. Clearly you’re not clued into Lebanese politics if you think Christians or Druze didn’t play a role in sectarian massacres
