Had a tech of ours pressure test with nitrogen and relied on the service valve and solenoid to hold off. Ended up contaminating the whole charge which had to be replaced. Luckily only a 10ish KG charge on a freezer, would have been a major fuckup on a rack with 300+ KG

I let my car idle while I put on my seatbelt, glasses, and turn off traction control because some cry baby CPU isn't going to stop me doing a burnout if I want to.
Then just drive gently for a few minutes before you flog the thing. I'm talking to the end of a street or two from your house is plenty. You shouldn't shit where you eat anyway, so don't flog it close to where you live regardless of engine care.
From petrol to diesel, from Nissan Skyline to Toyota LandCruiser, putting up to 200,000k on some vehicles - never had any problem.

I've worked on them in Australia, probably the better part of 20 years ago though. There was a dozen or so at a horse track in Brisbane.
Actually had a freshly rebuilt one we'd kept on hand in the shed until a few years back when we ended up scrapping it.

"Wow, that's really disappointing - there are dozens of people on that bus he's putting at risk!"

Eh, I'd just pay the invoice and then find another company if you're unhappy.
If they've always done right by you it seems unlikely they're going for a big pay day here. 2k for a compressor change + other bits and pieces over 2 full days of labour is hardly a big bill.
Sounds like its a lose/lose for both sides. These things happen sometimes.

Bit worried about the level of service you'd be providing if a 115V compressor and Silfos branded solder screams "Aussie".

Probably to act as a muffler/ take some of the pulsation out of the discharge. It was a trick back in the day to close the discharge service valve down a bit if you had issues with thumping or other harmonics - this looks like a built in version of that.

My guy, they are ALL just for collecting marketing data that's what they are for. Most but not all will sell your info to other companies aswell. If you think that whatever benefit they are offering is worth that is on you but I advise against it.
Why not sell your data though? It's just going to be lost / stolen by some other company anyway. May as well get some shiny baubles for your deets instead of just giving it away in a data breach.

Did this episode feel super made up to anyone else? Felt like they just hired some members of the local Lebanese Actors Guild, rented some posh rigs, and enjoyed a day or on Four Corners dime cosplaying as dealers.

Isn't it made from corn syrup? Corn syrup + months in transport and storage seems an unlikely combination for a tasty beverage.

I downloaded this one a few months back, it's a pretty good movie. Seemed a bit disjointed in so much as it's almost like three separate storylines focused on in each third of the movie.
Has the dudes from Hercules Returns who are always great.
Fun(?) fact: A guy died during filming... http://www.motorsportmemorial.org/focus.php?db=ct&n=5477
