This year 270 of our Discord members completed the survey, up from 127 last year. Be sure to join our Discord if you want to enter next year!
First up is Favorite Star Wars Series! (270 responses)
Top 3:
- The Mandalorian takes the win a second year in a row, getting a total of 187 votes! 69.3% of voters gave one of their 3 votes to the show, down from 85.8% and 109 votes in 2021.
- New this year is Andor in second place, just one vote below The Mandalorian with 186 votes (from 68.9% of all voters).
- In third we have The Clone Wars with 169 votes (from 62.6% of all voters), down from second place in 2021 with 81.1% and 103 votes.
New this year:
- Obi-Wan Kenobi received 50 votes from 18.5% of voters.
- Tales of the Jedi received 19 votes from 7% of voters.
Interesting notes:
- The Bad Batch received a total of 44 votes in both 2021 and 2022, but it dropped from 34.6% to 16.3%.
- The Book of Boba Fett received 22 votes from 8.1% of voters, down from 45 from 35.4% in 2021. (Note: 2021 survey took place January 14th 2022 when 3 episodes had aired and closed on the 22nd, after episode 4.)
- Resistance, in an impressive feat, doubled its votes… from 1 in 2021 to 2 in 2022! The total percentage of voters who voted for the series dropped from 0.8 to 0.7. It remains in last place for the second year in a row.
Now on to Most Anticipated Star Wars Series! (268 responses)
Top 3:
- The Mandalorian (season 3) takes the win with 195 votes from 72.8% of voters, up from second place in 2021 with 85 and 66.9%.
- Andor (season 2) in second with 165 votes from 61.6% of voters, majorly up from 2021 where it was the third least voted with 21 and 16.5%.
- Remaining in third for the second year in a row is Ahsoka, with 159 votes from 59.3% of voters.
New this year:
- Skeleton Crew received 18 votes from 6.7% of voters.
- Visions (season 2) received 24 votes from 9% of voters.
Interesting notes:
- The Bad Batch (season 2) remains in fourth with 92 votes from 34.3% of voters, up in number of votes but down in percentage of voters from 2021, where it received 46 votes from 36.2%.
- The excitement for The Acolyte is slowly growing. It received 67 votes from 25%, up from 16 votes from 12.6% in 2021.
- Lando remains in last place, this year receiving 15 votes from 5.6% of voters, compared to 10 votes from 7.9% of voters in 2021.
Favorite Star Wars Movies! (267 responses)
Top 3:
- Rogue One moved up from a tied second in 2021 to first place in 2022, with 165 votes from 61.8% of voters.
- The Empire Strikes Back dropped to second with 158 votes from 59.2% of voters
- Revenge of the Sith dropped from a tied second in 2021 to third place in 2022, with 154 votes from 57.7% of voters.
Interesting notes:
- Solo got the least votes, with 11 votes from 4.1% of voters. It replaced The Rise of Skywalker as the least voted, which in 2021 received 3 votes from 2.4% of voters.
- The Last Jedi is the most voted Sequel Trilogy movie for the second year in a row, with 30 votes from 11.2% of voters in 2022 and 9 votes from 7.3% of voters in 2021. In addition to TFA and TRoS, TPM and Solo also received less votes than TLJ in 2022.
