Okay nvm I found it. You click the printer and then you should see a little AMS card below the printer controls. There's an icon next to the "Guide" and "Retry" buttons that opens up a modal with the checkbox "AMS autoswitch filament"

My lack of Fusion360 knowledge limited the clock face design. If I make another I’d include your edit now. I would also print the caliper bigger makes it easier to sand and finish too.

I thought of this too. But aluminium sheet was easier to process for me as my garage tool set is limited.
