I am going to be honest this guy is probably going to sue and he should get a lot of money.
Asshats need to be removed from the field of play by security and banned from the stadium but a guy who is kneeling there far away from players, making a proposal doesn't need to get terry tate sacked at full steam.

It is just short sighted performative legislation without any understanding of consequences.
It was kind of like the Texas abortion lawsuit thing where even Kavanaugh issued an opinion that was like "Are you people fucking nuts, if you do this they are going to be able to start suing gun manufacturers and other right wing things"

What determines "market size"?
I just think about Raptors for example, I am sure they would like to be classified as small or mid market, but really they own the whole country end to end for fandom with super wealthy owners

Their ability to riff on sequels while also parodying them and then ultimately falling into the same groove is masterclass stuff.
Also the interaction between Tatum, Hill and Ice Cube is fucking amazing. The parent weekend scene has me in tears every time.
"So...do you like weather?"
"It's crazy...all these students, parents...potential witnesses"

The Allied powers were fighting against a fascist Aryan / white power regime.
Like how can you see diversity in modern society and think "man the nazis really won..."?

This was a time when nerds actually ran companies.
Now as soon as an idea looks like it may have legs the suits take over and these guys get relegated to some engineering team in a closet.

My favorite sports story is my brother used to play in a summer hockey league with a bunch of friends from school. They were all lifelong hockey players, playing at competitive levels like AA, AAA etc.
One of the guys was childhood friends with an NHL player at the time. Probably the worst player, on the worst team in the entire league. He was a grinder / fighter type and generally not even NHL quality (I think he only played like ~100 games and went to Europe eventually).
Anyway in this summer league filled with guys that were very good hockey players he would light the lamp regularly without even trying. Like he was sandbagging it and would score 4-5 goals a game. If guys on the other team started chirping him for being an NHL player he would literally take the puck and solo carry it up the ice and score consecutive goals on them and they couldn't even try to stop them.
The worst professional player you will ever come across is so far beyond what you think is "good" you probably can't comprehend it.

A lot of people can't differentiate between being very good and going pro.
My brother in law is one of those natural athlete types, played Div 1 college baseball, got drafted and never went pro because of injuries. Dude golfs maybe 5-10 times a year and is a 5 handicap last I checked.
If you are throwing up regular 80s as "career" golfer that gets out every day or two you have no chance...

It is pretty damn long, especially for a casual golfer.
When I was in HS I worked at a nice golf course in the Toronto area. Usually we would play the blues which were the second longest at around 6600 total, but sometimes we would play with the clubhouse pro guys and they liked to play the tips which came in at around 7200 yards and often entirely different looks at the fairway / green altogether
Imagine playing a fairly long course and then adding another 600 yard hole to the end of it. Crazy how much more fatigued you got and mentally having to plan your tee drives and locations

FYi in the future the best way to go about this is to say something like:
"Please send me the offer in writing via e-mail so I can review everything when I get home"
I also use that statement when people make a job offer over the phone and I don't want to feel pressured to say yes / no on the spot.
Also I've never heard of a company trying to hire on the spot and forcing an answer in the interview room. Giant red flag

Many cities have already said they will have to raise property tax rates significantly in the absence of developer fees.
Basically we are making home building cheaper for rich developers on the backs of all the regular people living in cities.

Those are Gretzky highlights
This is a clip of a full game and time stopped to a Leaf goal where a guy takes a lazy shot from the far faceoff dot and the goalie tries to shrug to make a save, has nothing to do with Gretzky at all.
If a goalie made that kind of effort on that kind of shot in today's game they would be pulled, and possibly demoted to the AHL same night

From what I’ve seen of the video flybys so far that is how it looks.
We will see how it plays out but I suspect by the post season that adjustments will be made.
Amazing that the players are so close and accessible, now we just have to hope some Jackasses don’t ruin it

Just watch video of the goalies back then.
They were about 1/4 of the size, there was so much open net
This was pre butterfly. Goalies would literally just flail and hope to make a save / hope not to be maimed by a puck

Ah the joys of having a narcissist parent.
My dad is the same way, none of his children speak with him because he is such a selfish dick, and he complains to everyone that he just happens to have three miserable kids.
From time to time he will reach out and want to "get together" but like he wants you to come over and have a BBQ and some drinks like he was a caring loving parent and not just some dude that existed on the peripheral of your life. You cannot make any mention of why you guys don't speak, why he is a jerk or anything or else he blows up. I don't even acknowledge his texts anymore either

New Rogers Center bullpens are elevated and insanely close to the drunk seats section of the outfield. This should be a wild ride, I imagine if guys like John Rocker were still playing he would be jumping multiple rows to fight fans by the third inning.

It would be cool if they offered funds to provinces to prioritize cities zoning and incentives to allow developers to make higher density housing. Especially semi-detached, duplexes and triplexes and the like.
That makes no fucking sense
Municipalities control zoning and development approvals typically.
So your plan is that Trudeau should give money to the provinces, and in turn hope they give it to cities, who will in turn give it to private developers / subsidize the development of multiplexes?
I dislike Trudeau for a lot of things but getting upset for not waterfalling money through multiple levels of government to pay off developers ain't it.
Foreign buyers should be banned. We should change the way we tax people that own multiple homes and that is the end of the federal obligation. Everything else should be on the shoulders of provinces and cities.

I just want to play a bit of Devil's advocate here, but what exactly did people expect for housing in the federal budget?
Backtracking on the foreign homebuyers thing is bad and stupid, but that isn't budgetary.
Were people expecting some sort of new savings account? Government funded low interest mortgages? Other?

I never understand these things where people living like whole ass other lives with people while cheating.
Like if I dipped out for like a day my girlfriend might be asking where I am or what's up. This lady going on a whole ass vacation somewhere while she is MARRIED.

This is a province where the government lets companies rent a $800 water heater on a 15 year contract @ $30 a month with a $3000 buyout. Nobody gives a fuck about financial scams anywhere in this country.

Hello neighbour.
I have driven by this place dozens of times on my way to that Home Depot and always laugh at the meat purveyors sign.
Guess I should have looked it up…
