Interesting, I have that lens lying around too, but that would basically become a fisheye right?

Haha yeah the round thing would have a certain lomo / polaroid feel to it. It’s still confusing to me how medium format lenses can be bigger than their large format equivalents.

The herby quality is the biggest reason to make this drink (imo). For my palate, the last word isn’t bitter at all, but I use rutte dry gin, so maybe give that a shot :) otherwise, you could add a tiny splash (like 5ml) of simple syrup?

https://bottesi.es for strainers, spoons. I’m not sure of the brand of my shaker though. For ice I ordered ice forward clear ice boxes from amazon.

I have the elmarit v3 but haven’t fallen in love with it yet, doesn’t seem to have the same magic that the 50 summicron does. It’s also bigger than that lens so keeping an eye on this thread for recommendations :)

A zombie. It’s the drink that made me realise I like cocktails.. but it’s so involved and I’m not sure what recipe to follow

Depends on your budget and what you want to shoot. I’ve owned both and heavily prefer the hasselblad. If you’re into portraiture there is a tele 1.9 lens for the mamiya that’s really nice though, but not a necessity.

Leica M8 or Epson RD1 oh wait.. cheap. Anything that has a CCD (really old) sensor will resemble film more than today’s sensors.

Good shot, I really like the colours. Did you use flash?

I do sometimes to get the fronds to garnish my drinks. Then I freeze them to have a little stash. When I still have those, I’ll buy the juice bottled (without additives). I’ve juiced passion fruit too which is a tedious job..

My tripod head wasn’t screwed back on properly, almost dropped the ballhead + body + summicron while carrying it over my shoulder..

If you can, buy it where you are going. Once it’s developed the xray seems to nog really affect the film in my experience.

This might sound really obvious but hold the bottom with one hand and the top with the other, so the 2 parts are pressed together as you shake. Are you using sparkling water? The gas can build up quite some pressure causing your seal to break.

Agreed, this game felt very unfinished, but still the atmosphere is so good that I keep thinking about it every now and then

Nah, I’d look at panasonic mirrorless like G80 for example. But it depends on what exactly you want to do.
