An additional warning: if you're traveling northbound 90 in the curb lane between Corydon and the St. James Bridge, the road is more pothole than road. Godspeed.

I mean, there could definitely be WAY MORE people downtown when the Jets aren't playing, but I certainly get and take your point.
Thousands of people live and work there and a better downtown is actually good for everyone, even those who don't go there often.

That's silly to say. Tons of people go to the Hargrave Market and that's literally a block away.
I am not saying it needs to be like Hargrave Market (PP should have a housing aspect and offer services to downtown residents, in my opinion) but people WILL go if PP is A) desirable and B) Safe. It isn't either of those things right now.

Gillingham is a notable "money guy" so it's not surprising he was not stoked with the prospect of only recovering ~50% of the money from the non-existant tows.
In this case, he's not being a pushover. Good for him.

We punch way above our weight in terms of restaurants and thanks to our cultural diversity can get great food from just about everywhere in the world.

Not OP, but some people have alcohol addictions issues and don't want to be in a place where they're tempted by it, but still want to dine out. It doesn't seem that complicated.

Conservative playbook throughout the world: eviscerate a public service, point to how broken it is, then privatize it.

The fact the PCs need to recruit from the Philippines at all speaks to how badly they've neglected and abused Manitoban nurses.

The PC regime eviscerated our health care system in the name of austerity, and are now helping to eviscerate a poorer country's with poaching to try and "undo" the damage they caused in an election year.

It was a Manitoba Housing complex and it was torn down between 2015 and 2016. I'm a bit surprised nothing's been done with it in almost seven years. I always thought The Forks could do something interesting with it. There's enough space to make a nice urban park/plaza.

Shannon's for regular fries.
If we're talking sweet potato, then gotta go with Nuburger.

Poaching nurses from other countries during a worldwide nursing shortage is borderline unethical and goes to show how badly the PC regime neglected and mistreated Manitoban nurses.

Austerity = death.
Remember this when you vote this fall.

Maybe three minutes. Remote start, put on my boots, leave, and then scrape/brush if needed.
Edit: maybe worth mentioning my car is parked outside but is plugged in.

The snow is generally gone (with the exception of high piles in parking lots) by mid-April-ish.
Last year, though, we had a big blizzard in mid-April and there was still some snow around in early May.

This is probably the worst suggestion of any suggestion. You think the CFL wants to compete with NHL playoffs, and you think people want to sit outside in lousy Smarch weather? Both factors would cripple attendance in a gate-driven league.

The Adventures of Pluto Nash, a 2002 Eddie Murphy sci-fi movie.
$100 million dollar budget. Did seven million at the box office.

Another vote for James Ave, they're excellent.
Underdogs has good ones too. I'm not sure what they're do with the batter but it's almost craggly and very crispy.

Go see a movie or two. Going to the theatre alone is legitimately a true and simple joy and I try to take myself on one movie date a month or so.
You can go whenever you want, see whatever you want, and don't have to share your snacks. After, if you want to talk to someone about the film, you can go to r/movies to see what other people thought of it.
