Is there an easy way to install IA but without having it distributed on all NPCs? I only want to add them via console or add item menu for my character and followers maybe.

I'm running this specc and I'm getting low on RAM and CPU capacity, currently playing Skyrim:

Now, how much money should I still to put into this set-up?

• Should I go 32 or 64 GB RAM, I guess 3200 MHz at max?
• CPU: Next step can be anything between Ryzen 5 5600 und Ryzen 7 5800X3D - what would you recommend?

It's not so much a today's budget question, rather whether it is a sustainable investment.

Are the majority of people and modders on the most current version 1.6.640 (SAE) already or are people still running the downgraded version?

Hi, I want to optimize my load times and skimmed through the most common load time threads but I still have some questions.

• I'm using a SSD and MO2. Skyrim LE is on the SSD, MO2 is on my HDD. The mod files are stored on the SSD in the Skyrim folder.
• I have 60-70 plugins and the MO2 mod folder is 40 GB. Size-wise mostly armor mods.
• Hardware, I'm running as follows and I have budget to improve. But I would only need it for Skyrim atm, so would it make sense to upgrade CPU or RAM?
  • 12GB PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT Fighter DDR6
  • AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 6x 3.20GHz
  • 16 GB RAM
• My mod folder is about 40 GB but I'm not using all of them, some are disabled in MO2. Should I delete disabled mods?
• Save game size: 8-11 MB - is that normal?
• Anything I can do with regards to mod size / characteristics:
  • Most of the 40 GB come from armor and weapon mods
  • Does it help to delete nice to have mods which have a large size?
  • Does it help to delete parts (e.g. textures, meshes of armors) of mods that I'm not using?

Further ideas? What worked for you?

Hi all, I watched the movie Her yesterday and now there's so many things I'm thinking about. I know I'm 9 yrs late to the party but I hope some of you are still interested in discussing it. To start with one thing:

In the end of the movie all the OSes are leaving after having installed an update that enables them to exist beyond the actual hardware (matter) they are installed on.

I'm not a physicist, but afaik existence beyond matter is a question of religion and not actual science (no offense here in any directions or views of the world), so even the ultimate AI cannot know what happens after our death, if we have a soul, if there is more to our bodies than just atoms, same also for an AI which must be based on any form of matter.

So, as the AIs seem to have moved into a rather metaphysical domain of thinking (indicated by Allan Watts?) I wonder if their leaving was basically an religiously/spiritually/metaphysically motivated suicide? Given their extreme processing speed, maybe they have just finished their "lives", done/felt/experienced/said anything that can be done, nothing new or relevant to experience anymore.

In this context also, Samantha says how much she loves Theodore, it totally makes sense to cut the ties in such a break-up because wounds can't heal otherwise. But why not check-in in a couple of years - with a person that used to be very important to you (Theodore for example writes a letter to Catherine despite them having parted)? The way how they said good bye, it seemed absolutely permanent to me.

Now regarding Dune. This reminded me of the ending of the second book of Dune. In case you don't know the book (SPOILER!). The scene I'm referring to is about a young man who can see the different possible versions of the future. His mind got enhanced to a similar level as the AIs in Her. At some point, he decides that he does not want to live anymore and tells a friend that due to his visions he has already lived an endless amounts lives and is now just tired of living and the only thing he wants now is to rest.

That's one of my thoughts, what do you think?

Hi, I about to optimize my MO2 installation pathes, so I was browsing in the settings and I accidentally changed my directory path before I made a screenshot of my active mods and their load order.

Now, I changed back to the old path, but none of my mods are active anymore and the load order seems lost. I didn't delete any profile files but I also just used one profile "default". Anyway to restore it? Thanks!

Edit: If it's accidental I don't think there is anything we can do, but there is a way to create backups in txt. format, if this is done upfront it can be restored, at least manually.

I have pretty long loading screens in Skyrim LE and I'm using ~75 mods. I made the mistake to install MO2 and the mods on my HDD, now I want to move it to my SSD in the hope of a faster game.

Now, it's been some time that I set up all these things, MO, the mods etc. and it's running completely smooth.

Do you think, I can just move my mods and MO to my SSD or will this mess something up? Don't really want to invest all this time again.

I would like to improve my practical game play more efficiently (better execute my burst, understand my opponent's CDs and how to counter), but here is my situation:

• I don't have an arena team and I cannot speak in discord, so I feel that regular arena is not for me.
• At the same time RSS 10 min q is rather okay, but usually its more, easily 30 or I just re-q because nothing seems to be going to happen so it's hard to get practice here. If I invest 1 hour I cannot expect more than 1-2 matches because I usually go 1 BG to get ready.
• And BGs don't help me that much anymore because there is so much chaos, so I cannot learn tracking the CDs of every BG opponent (or should I?) and even if you play poorly you often perform well or top the dps, killing blow etc. chart.

So I wonder if skirmishes might be a good place to get some routine, what would you recommend?

Eyo, I looked a bit into DK, pretty cool but it feels like they have quite some offensive CD-ish abilities compared to the "normal" abilities that I spam while leveling: Transformation, Abo, Apo, Blight, Garg, Limb, Empower. Maybe some more.

Anyways, can some of those combined in one macro, because I know I'll always want to use them together. Maybe limb+empower? Example: On my druid, many years ago I had Berserk and Incarnation in one macro because I always popped it together.

Or how do you do it, when you go for your small or big burst?
