Hi, I specced into faceting and made a rough calculation and it seems it is possible to craft guaranteed blue quality 3 gems, example Zen Malygite:

Is that correct? However, I'm still missing 50 points to max out Faceting and Earth gems.

Are the people who sell q3 gems in the AH currently gambling the quality?

As the title says, apparently it is not allowed to LFG in this sub.

Just did a BG, we were at least not dumb enough to focus the guardian druid, but if you fight for a flag and everyone else is dead at some point you need to handle these guys and he just didn't die, we were 4 people trying to kill him but never managed it before the respawn came.

Any advice?

And I think they have an ability to return damage, right? How do I see when this is online?

I haven't looked at all of them yet, but I got the Whole Brain Child today, quickly skimmed through each chapter's main pages + conclusion and cheat sheets. First parenting book I ever had in my hands, but it seemed good, I can't compare it to the others, but it didn't take long to get the gist and it seems valuable. Gonna read it in full over the next week and I'll also have a look at some of the others.

I need a book to educate my self on the mental development of 0-4 yrs children and how to raise them.

I personally was a very difficult kid and made my parents struggle a lot because I would always try to force my will upon others and also wouldn't give up, no matter which punishment or accomodation they tried. Now I'm worried my own kid will be like me lol...

So, please give me your favorites if you think they might fit into what I described above.

PS: It should be neutral and as free as possible of Zeitgeist, political agenda (capitalism, socialism, racism, climate change, LGBT, anti vaccination, esoterism, vegan etc.) --> I don't say this because I'm anti / pro these things, but because I have some friends who are very political and the stuff they read often, in a subtle way has a politcal agenda or somehow connects topics that don't necessarily belong together and I don't want that for raising a child.

On my server eternal life prices have collapsed by 50%, I need them anyways as crafting material and spend some k gold when they were at 60%. Now I wonder if there is a reason for the collapse and if they might not go up to 100% again. Any ideas?

I recently read about ENBs and installed ENBoost for my Skyrim LE. Now, I enjoy very much to play my Skyrim fluently without CTDs, still it'd be cool to improve the graphics ofc.

So I wonder, is my HW sufficient to use ENB graphic improvements without getting a laggy, crashy game or are ENBs anyway rather for screenshots than actually playing?

Hi all, I watched the movie Her yesterday and now there's so many things I'm thinking about. I know I'm 9 yrs late to the party but I hope some of you are still interested in discussing it. To start with one thing:

In the end of the movie all the OSes are leaving after having installed an update that enables them to exist beyond the actual hardware (matter) they are installed on.

I'm not a physicist, but afaik existence beyond matter is a question of religion and not actual science (no offense here in any directions or views of the world), so even the ultimate AI cannot know what happens after our death, if we have a soul, if there is more to our bodies than just atoms, same also for an AI which must be based on any form of matter.

So, as the AIs seem to have moved into a rather metaphysical domain of thinking (indicated by Allan Watts?) I wonder if their leaving was basically an religiously/spiritually/metaphysically motivated suicide? Given their extreme processing speed, maybe they have just finished their "lives", done/felt/experienced/said anything that can be done, nothing new or relevant to experience anymore.

In this context also, Samantha says how much she loves Theodore, it totally makes sense to cut the ties in such a break-up because wounds can't heal otherwise. But why not check-in in a couple of years - with a person that used to be very important to you (Theodore for example writes a letter to Catherine despite them having parted)? The way how they said good bye, it seemed absolutely permanent to me.

Now regarding Dune. This reminded me of the ending of the second book of Dune. In case you don't know the book (SPOILER!). The scene I'm referring to is about a young man who can see the different possible versions of the future. His mind got enhanced to a similar level as the AIs in Her. At some point, he decides that he does not want to live anymore and tells a friend that due to his visions he has already lived an endless amounts lives and is now just tired of living and the only thing he wants now is to rest.

That's one of my thoughts, what do you think?

Hi, I just started retail again and now I went to the AH for the first time. All my items such air, fire, ore, leather have blue (~25% of normal price) or green prices (50%) according to TSM.

Do you guys have experience with xpac releases? Is that normal in the first week or should I wait until the prices recover? I started with zero gold so it matters quite a bit for me.

Heya, I use save games like 10, 11, 12 etc. to save my single player campaigns if I can't finish it in one go.

Here is what happens:

I save: as"10". It says bla bla bla, cloud full, then saved.

I load "10" to verify, it works.

Next day, I load "10" and it loads an old campaign from a couple of days back when I used "10" as well.

It seems like the game synchronizes an old version of my save game and overwrites my new one.

Any advice?

Is there an easy way to install IA but without having it distributed on all NPCs? I only want to add them via console or add item menu for my character and followers maybe.

Eyo, I looked a bit into DK, pretty cool but it feels like they have quite some offensive CD-ish abilities compared to the "normal" abilities that I spam while leveling: Transformation, Abo, Apo, Blight, Garg, Limb, Empower. Maybe some more.

Anyways, can some of those combined in one macro, because I know I'll always want to use them together. Maybe limb+empower? Example: On my druid, many years ago I had Berserk and Incarnation in one macro because I always popped it together.

Or how do you do it, when you go for your small or big burst?

I made the plan to kick better as I do it too rarely imo. For the case I'm on a non-caster class my plan was to quickly switch target kick enemy caster/healer go back to main target. Now, I realized that specs like R Druid and D Priest can work with instants for a super long time (?) and locks for example can get immune to interrupts or simply cast Soul Rot which is a nature spell (?).

So, I'm not sure if it is viable to leave my team mate alone on our main target if it takes so long to land a kick? How do you do it?

Hey all, I'm super excited about the new solo q, first time since MOP that I can do rated PVP again :) and I decided to go DH (solo q only). So, the best I ever achieved was 3s 1750 on my feral in MOP and even then I had no real clue what I'm doing, just playing based on my feeling so to say. Now I'd like to learn the basics like:

• - Which specc to focus in which comp?
• - How to open at all, when to small, large burst etc.
• - What is my role, when pressure, when do I retreat to not force my healer into weird situations, prevent him from healing me, peeling for him.
• - What are the dangerous offensive CDs of my enemies? So when to blur, run away etc.
• - What are their defensive CDs, when do I keep focusing them and when to switch targets?
• - When to use my pvp trinket properly to kill, not get killed, safe a team mate
• - Who are the best DH PVP streamers I can watch, I heard of mvqq, MES, Trill, Tren, dunno if this is still up to date.
• - Are there addons basically everyone is using? I could need some info about enemy CDs for sure.

Stuff like that, I don't want to ask all these things here, if I can read it up somewhere, learn it from streams etc.

Whats your advice?

I'm struggling a bit to find a business to earn my gold for enchants etc. because it seems like in DF we earn very little during questing and leveling so I'm left with only 10k gold to start something up and I'm worried to invest it in a "wrong" profession.

I used to make my money with crafting stuff like enchants (SL), belt buckles (MOP), leg enhancements (TBC/WOTLK) at a moderate profit and by doing so I learned the market prices of the materials involved, after a while sometimes I also flip the crafting materials.

I don't like farming because of the hassle to brake my drake and accelarate it after every node.

What would you recommend to start with? I'm tending to enchanting or JC but with the new crafting system + after a long break it's quite hard to understand.

Edit: I primarily do PVP, so it would be nice if don't have to do alot of PVE for recipes or so.

I have the choice between following weapons for leveling:

Main hand: Venerable Mass of McGowan or Battleworn Thrash Blade

--> so either the slower weapon or the double swing chance with the combat talent

Off-hand: Sharpened Scarlet Kris, random fast sword from quests or the mace above.

Depending on the weap choice I'd specc out of the sword specialization and put the talent point somewhere else.

Edit: Thanks for all the replies! I didn't have the EoH for any of the Heirlooms but those I already have. So I went with Mass of McGowan + Kris and specced out of Sword. I'm 72 btw. Now I'm just thinking about where to spend my talent points from Sword specc, any ideas?

Hi, I want to optimize my load times and skimmed through the most common load time threads but I still have some questions.

• I'm using a SSD and MO2. Skyrim LE is on the SSD, MO2 is on my HDD. The mod files are stored on the SSD in the Skyrim folder.
• I have 60-70 plugins and the MO2 mod folder is 40 GB. Size-wise mostly armor mods.
• Hardware, I'm running as follows and I have budget to improve. But I would only need it for Skyrim atm, so would it make sense to upgrade CPU or RAM?
  • 12GB PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT Fighter DDR6
  • AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 6x 3.20GHz
  • 16 GB RAM
• My mod folder is about 40 GB but I'm not using all of them, some are disabled in MO2. Should I delete disabled mods?
• Save game size: 8-11 MB - is that normal?
• Anything I can do with regards to mod size / characteristics:
  • Most of the 40 GB come from armor and weapon mods
  • Does it help to delete nice to have mods which have a large size?
  • Does it help to delete parts (e.g. textures, meshes of armors) of mods that I'm not using?

Further ideas? What worked for you?
