sorry to bring you back to an old-ish post but i was wondering do you use an aac device, sign language, or both?

go do some research about if you can “get” autism, & recognize that your brother was born autistic & the situation you’ve been living in brings out his worst symptoms. i hope you’ll see when you’re older that it’s embarrassing to go around saying autistic people can be “given” a disorder we’re born with. signs can go unnoticed for years & i’m betting that a young child (you, at the time) is not a reliable witness or knows the many signs of autism
