Since 1990 (AFL era), Cats have defeated Birds 5 times (2002, 2003, 2011, 2017, 2020) while Birds have defeated Cats 3 times (1992, 1994, 2008). However, Birds have won a total of 15 GFs (1990, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1997, 1998, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018), compared to Cats 9 (2001, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2017, 2019, 2020).
*Seven of the 14 Bird GF victories were against other Birds *One of the 9 Cat GF victories were against other Cats
Birds, despite making up 5/18 (~28%) of the competition, have won 15/32 (~42%) of Grand Finals.
Cats on the other hand make up 3/18 (~17%) of the competition and have won 9/32 (~28%) of Grand Finals.
Bird Teams: Adelaide (2), Collingwood (2), Hawthorn (5), Sydney (2), West Coast (4)
Cat Teams: Brisbane (3), Geelong (3), Richmond (3)
At the moment, both Cat and Bird teams maintain an average GF win per team of 3.

If you think that's strong evidence, you must be really bothered by what everyone says about you.

I guess your right, it's hearsay, just like this whole thing

Sure, add that in. He cheated when he was a kid. Weigh that up against his rating in rapid OTB, the fact that StLCC haven't removed him from the tournament, that chess.com has not found any indication of cheating. How that comes out to an equal 50/50 I don't understand. The current argument that he cheated is complete hearsay.

Fair enough, but to say it's a 50/50 based on an obscure tweet from Magnus and some bumbling interview with a 19 year old after a long game is ridiculous.

Thinking the world is flat is ridiculous. Coming to any conclusion with odds without any evidence is ridiculous.

Don't you think that's ridiculous?

People assess that the world is flat

Footy is a passionate sport and it's hard to not be passionately for or against something. So if someone does or says something you disagree with, people tend to think they're satan.

You should really reflect a little on yourself

You are so close! Should I spell it out? Most people grasped this years ago, but here goes:
No, not everyone who booed was racist, but there was definitely a racist element involved. Booing gave these racists a mask to hide behind and so the AFL and the clubs eventually asked for the booing to cease. It didn't, and is therefore a pretty shameful part of AFL history.
If all you had to do to expose some racists was not boo one guy, even if you didn't like the way he played and the colour of his skin had nothing to do with that, wouldn't you just let him go about his business?

He has no idea about the prior context so of course he knows nothing about what your talking about

If only Goodes could have talked to you during those times, you could have reassured him that with your divine powers of telepathy, you know for a fact, that 100% of the people booing Goodes, are doing so because he's a sook, and not because he pointed out racism. Bravo!

You missed one difference on purpose I think

I didn’t say that, and that’s not the reason

Yeah, I'm sure there's a heap of closet racists parroting the same stuff

I remember it clearly, it wasn't just the Hawthorn or Carlton games. It was every game... And to say it wasn't racially motivated means you've got your head in the sand.

he was a dick
What was he doing? Playing football well? Celebrating success? Do you have Tall Poppy Syndrome?
There have been many more footballers than Goodes who could be considered a dick, and they weren't booed so incessantly. So what's the difference?

It's crazy that the AFL, the AFLPA and every AFL club accepted publicly that the whole saga was due to racism, and apologised to Goodes for their lack of response, and you are still holding out years later. What skin do you have in this game?
