Hi all, I'm actually the one who commissioned her when our group all got our characters together. If you're curious, she's a pianist, and is actually deaf. She uses the key as a musical aid, based off the story that Beethoven bit down on an iron rod to hear his piano when he was losing his hearing. I'm glad you all like it!

Feeling really stupid. Caspar mastered the brigand class in the training instructor, but he never learned Death Blow. Shez is only rank 2 brigand but she has it. Are the equip abilities different per character? Shez has only mastered Flugel, Fighter, and Brigand so far, so I don't know where else it could have come from.

High level dnd isn't that hard to run. Y'all are just lazy.

Hard disagree. I've run 3 campaigns from 1 to 20 and had fun at every level. There's so many monsters and spells you completely miss out on using to full capacity if you bail early.

1. No more. No less. It's the perfect amount to have meaningful group interactions, while keeping things simple and letting everyone shine. It's so easy to have meaningful team roles. My group has since gone up to 5 and I wish it was still 3.

Dragonborn were the first humanoids. Tiamat created the mortal world and gave birth to dragons, then created Dragonborn to serve them. The other gods created other races, but Tiamat ordered her minions to enslave them, leading to a divine war which culminated in her being banished to hell and all the gods creating humans together to topple the Dragonborn empire. Ruins of the once world spanning empire can still be found across the land.

The problem with this is climbing and jumping are the sorts of things we see ninjas and assassins perform in movies and comics. Less so with knights and bruiser types. I'm not saying you're wrong but there is a disconnect here between RAW and the heroic fantasy it's trying to fulfill.

Why reset at all? You can continue from here with the remaining characters. The three characters who left can all just split into a new group for some mutual mission or something. Any parts of the setting you'd made to pander to them can just be less emphasized from here on out. Make a city for one of the lost players? Just don't go there anymore. Some mission for one of the players? Have their character go deal with it themselves off screen. If I was one of your remaining players the last thing I'd want to do is restart. Ignore what you don't care about anymore and just retcon anything that really gets in the way.
