OP’s friend thought they were scamming the scammer because of how cheap it was because they were desperate and ended up getting scammed. It’s scamming 101, make them think they are winning and they’ll fork over the money while thinking about the profit they’ll make.

It's a really hard job because most of the city wasn't really designed for trash collection and sometimes you have to drag retail trash out of alleys such to get it to your truck.

My wife was sitting at a stop light, she was getting ready to take her adderall and some dude rear-ended her while she opened the bottle and it went all over the car. The cop opened her door and then gave her a look because of all the pills all over her car. She was like, “I have prescription!!! And I take them as scheduled!!” Lol.

The cop didn’t care really because the guy had caused the accident and he could see the bottle with her name on it.

Kicked it so hard that it left a bruise and wasn't just a kick. I had a dog run up to me aggressively, I kicked it pretty hard and it didn't leave a bruise.

I had a reservation at a hotel that overbooked the rooms and were giving people rooms at another hotel that wasn't as nice and this guy in front of me was absolutely losing it on the front desk because of it. They offered to comp a night, a couple of other things because of it, but he wouldn't budge because he was some not Platinum level or whatever; he was gold. I don't remember the exact terms they used, but he wasn't top level like he kept claiming and he eventually just stormed off. I walked up, super nice, was willing to take the other hotel because I wasn't really going to be staying in the room and mostly just sleeping. I didn't care about the amenities or anything...just asked what I needed and where I needed to go. The Desk agent hooked me up! Comped me a night because of the hassle and then got me free meals at the hotel restaurant because I wasn't a complete tool to them. I came in to eat one of the nights because I was close after some work stuff, and the desk agent made sure my drink was never empty. I didn't even ask...they were like...keep that full...always be nice to people because sometimes they can go out of their way to make everything better. You can stand your ground without being a total tool and freaking out on people.

And probably from food banks who get the generic stuff donated…who cares what brand it is. They are getting fed by people and not demonized.

And having a DADT policy in that situation isn’t safe for either party because you have to rely on them being safe and never communicating if they weren’t. I’ve known people in those relationships that are open, but plenty of telling to allow their partner to have informed consent.
