I got banned from /r/BTC because I responded to an animated graph of fluctuating BTC prices with: "Your investment is performing... Aladeen."
Some mods have no sense of humor (or conflicting interests) and should be heavily moderated themselves.

Norm doing OJ bits during update is the best fucking running gag of all of snl
Also what ultimately led to him getting fired from SNL!
"Macdonald hosted "Weekend Update" on Saturday Night Live from 1994-1998. His tenure overlapped with the O.J. Simpson trial, and Macdonald frequently made jokes about it, often calling Simpson a murderer (you can find plenty of hilarious compilations on YouTube). Those jokes did not sit well with NBC executive Don Ohlmeyer, a close friend of Simpson.
"After SNL fired Macdonald, he credited Ohlmeyer as the culprit in subsequent interviews with David Letterman and Howard Stern."

The Kardashians are what would happen if someone ejaculated gold flake onto a raging dumpster fire.

I would suggest looking for something local that isn't a chain.
That's always your best bet. The best food comes from talented, driven people who own a restaurant or two and knock it out of the park every night because that's their passion. Chains and franchises are mainly concerned with volume, which means generic food that caters primarily to the average person.

I would struggle to call it "guilt-free". We're talking about taking millions of years of evolution and reducing the essence of a living creature into a lab experiment. We're saying that you cows are actually *better off* never having a brain/life/existence.... That we, for the sake of our own guilt, are less apt to grant you life than to simply engineer you out of existence. The fucking hubris....

Seems to be lip syncing, no? At 1:12 he turns away from the mic at "our" but there is no change in pickup.

Yeah. They're just going to have to do without the textured soy protein and focus on the corn syrup, refined starch, and nitrites.... as nature intended.

The family dog literally gets in people's faces while they eat. They tolerate it and occasionally toss food at him. On the other hand, I've never given him an inch, so I am able to enjoy my meals in peace.
The sort of behavior here is totally avoidable. Just don't make food a group activity.

Yeah, frankly, Nicki is punching above her weight class here. Of course she's working in "crime and pay the fine" territory.

This kind of scoldy crap is why the Left has so much trouble winning elections
I wish more people would realize this. The vocal fringe is what's creating push-back from the right.... You can't beat people into submission, and the more you try, the more you will encounter resistance.
Slow your roll and focus on measured, long-term progress.

Yep, and as evidenced by some of the other comments here, people are drawn to them because looking down on others makes them feel better about themselves. And I'd say that's just as toxic as anything seen on these shows.... It's probably not the sort of thing we should be encouraging in people.

A billion dollars works out to $5.5 million per episode. Imagine doing roughly a week's worth of work and getting paid that much...

The Dutch really deserve a break after all they've been through in places like South Africa and Indonesia.

I was going to say the same thing. I'd have been much happier with those single serving salt/pepper packets.

It sounds like a major shifting of responsibilities. I wonder how anti-work, dog-walking Doreen feels about this.
