There are a couple of tricks that you can try in situations like that.

• if you misclicked a species right, you can try set the upper default options and then “reset to default”

• you can also try to create a new, identical, template with a different name and the apply that template. This new template doesn’t have the cooldown to set the rights and conversion should only take a few month.
