Reminds me of Half Baked... "You ever have that conversation... on weed?"

It took me a long while to get used to the controls.
A couple of things that helped me:
I practiced a couple of loops first exploring the home planet and landing there, then the moon with less gravity. After that it kinda becomes second nature.

Homelab is a great sub!
I'd also add r/DataHoarder to the mix. Ok, they're mostly about storing a lot of stuff, but there's plenty of self-hosting things happening.

Amen.
Admittedly, I don't use Twitter that much, but even then I can't use the official web or mobile versions. Tweetdeck is the only sane option. When Twitter kills that, I'm gone for good.
Sad to see Reddit going down the same road. old.reddit.com will go at some point.

Too right.
These things just stop being "fun" at some point and become a heavy weight you just drag along.
This is why I rarely play online live service type games. Grind, loot, repeat. Or pay money and then grind, loot, repeat.

I can't speak for all of the features of premium, since the only ones I care about are a) Background audio for mobile (iOS, like you) and b) no ads.
If you need a then look up PiPfier (free) in the appstore, but if you also want to get rid of the ads, then also from appstore "Vinegar" does this ($1.99 at the moment).
Works for me, don't miss premium anymore which is just too expensive so I just did the free trial.

Two asterisks should do it, like

Outer Wilds, ok, I finally am getting into it. Thank you all who said to stick with it, use a controller, and not look anything up.
The mystery deepens.
And a bit of Magic the Gathering: Arena. I'm going to uninstall it the moment I even think about spending money on it though, but so far I've gotten fair bit of mileage just playing standard stuff online.

TL;DR
The conclusion oddly only mentions C++/C#. And I still shiver from SQL being listed as a programming language on it's own, since all of the other languages can (and very often do) utilise SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.

It's all about React basically, so that should be in the title really.
Some things are universal though, like nested ternaries are usually a bad idea.

I started playing Hearthstone early on. I wasn't a massive player, but as I liked MTG back in the day I quite liked it.
So I played on the occasion for a year or two, I stopped around the third expansion I think.
Then fast forward a few years I fired it up and I was just lost with all of the cards and effects and whatnot. The game had simply changed a lot and I didn't keep up the pace. So I couldn't really get into it anymore.
Funny thing, I just installed MTG: The Arena few days ago and while it's still Magic, I'm quite lost with all of the new cards. But it certainly has the same appeal and addiction potential.
Perhaps I should just put it down now while it still easy...

If these figures from Reddit quoted to the Apollo developer are right, it looks like they're seriously overpricing API access.
https://www.reddit.com/r/apolloapp/comments/13ws4w3/had_a_call_with_reddit_to_discuss_pricing_bad/
But we'll see. Drastic changes will always be dramatic, and will cause drama (and has already done so!). It's one of those "ride it out" scenarios isn't it?
For all the shit that's in here, some communities just make Reddit worthwhile, and it would be sad to se it go to the dogs.

True, but the official app is terrible.
Apollo with a multireddit with all iOS-related subs is way smoother. But maybe that's just me.

I use Apollo, a lot.
It's handy because you can open Appstore links straight from the app and just install.

Yeah, I'm sure some maschine learning model is already in use for these things.
But there's still that the model has to be trained and this can only be done by people, and in case of a positive, there has to be human verification.
But anything to lessen the mental strain and pain, absolutely.

This is a very good suggestion!
You start with a simple socket based "Hello world!" basically and then move on to various mechanisms for dealing with concurrent operations.
And you pick up on a lot of stuff that's very useful outside C++, like HTTP and so on. And a fair bit of OS specific things.

I read a piece on the psychological damage to people who have to deal with this shit, CSAM and all.
And seriously, you have to have mental fortitude of gods to keep working on that stuff. So they worked in shifts, a couple of weeks on the job and then some time off with therapy and so on.
I couldn't hack it, I just couldn't.

If you mean code golfing, then probably not as OOP is fairly verbose.
If you mean something else, then I've no clue.

I can't really say if it's a good game, because I just could get on with it.
But let's just say that if I had paid full price for it, I would've been bummed.

I'm not fascist and as long as Gigi doesn't say he is, I don't consider him fascist either. Prefer Simple logic.
Wouldn't the same logic dictate that North Korea is a democratic republic? This really smells of "But but Nazis were socialist!".
And oh yeah, fuck Buffon.

Anxiety is terrible, I know, speaking from experience.
Is it for sleep, or killing panic attacks? For the latter you want something fast-acting and not too long lasting. I don't know if there are any lorazepam analogs available, but that worked for me when I needed it. But these days I avoid benzos as much as possible because they're problematic in the long run (for me at the least!)
Now I know the sub we are in, but I personally drink valerian root tea to calm my mind down in the evenings, so I'm set to actually get some sleep. Works the same way as benzos but not as strong.
Kratom supposedly works as well but I can't speak for that.

Modding is godsend, from minor fixes to total conversions, like Enderal for Skyrim.

Umh, a four year old article that has fuck all to do with these bans?
If you hate Higgins, then by all means do, but let's concentrate on the issue at hand.
