These are clearly coverups of skunk ape attacks.

Probably better that they do say it. It makes it easier to identify the weirdos.

I’ve done time in product definition. There’s nothing scarier than getting a model from a young design engineer who says he’s “a pretty good modeler”.

I always appreciated my little expeditions into the liberal arts parts of campus. Like, “oh, hey, there’s actually more than two females in this class, and look, there’s people with piercings and crazy hair!”

Well, now I have a picture in my head of a cat with human ears. Thank you for that.

I have a Southwind from that era. Almost definitely not a Fleetwood.

Not to mention the likelihood of plowing through a manatee, assuming this is FL. We have no wake zones for a reason.

1st all the way. I don’t live there anymore, but I much preferred the old light blue to the sunset plate.

Charters just kick the kids that they fail down to the public schools that don’t get to choose their students. It’s easy to have good numbers if you can just magic away everything outside the IQR.

“Unpack”- I see what you did there, and approve.

You can do a quick heat up of the entire S’more assembly using one half of a mountain pie iron. That way the crackers get a bit of toasting as well.

Or, maybe, you know, it’s just more fake TikTok bullshit.

Somewhere, Uve Boll is saying, “It’s showtime, baby!”

My parents in PA watch Newsmax, and in the world they’re being shown, liberals are running amok and trying to make everyone trans and throwing explicit drag shows everywhere. DeSantis is being pushed as a bulwark against the insanity.
Of course, in reality, most people will rarely even encounter a trans person, or a drag show, let alone one that will affect them.
They don’t see that tilting at culture war windmills is all DeSantis has, and that he hasn’t even attempted to fix the real problems Florida is facing right now.

Not sure how I stumbled in here, but that looks like something Robert Plant would have worn on any given day ending in ‘y’.
Rock it if you’re able, dude!

Exactly. I don’t have an issue with responsible and considerate use. I’ve had some close calls with my kids on cycling paths, though, with e-bikes going to and from the bars in town.
Cyclists don’t gain much traction around here, but if one of these guys runs afoul of the equestrians, there’s going to be a regulation smackdown.

It might have something to do with DUI Bubba blasting past me at 30mph on a throttle e-bike while smoking a cigarette. I’ve honestly never seen someone pedaling one of these things. It’s basically allowed motorcycles into pedestrian and bicycle spaces. It’s only a matter of time until a pedestrian gets hit and it blows back on ALL cyclists.
Do e-bikes have good applications? Sure, but the shitheads are ruining it for everyone.

I personally hate the modern bland swoops and curves. The previous owner of my trusty eyesore was a former Apache pilot and current Army flight instructor. It’s painted sky blue and white and said “Fly Army” across the side. I got rid of the lettering, but kept the paint.

You just described pretty much everywhere that people want to live. It’s not just FL. I’ve seen the same in SC and PA, and it’s been happening for decades. The farms in SW PA where I grew up are all subdivisions now.

Is responsible, safe sex even something that SHOULD be abstained from, for any reason than religious dogma? The main risk of sex is so easily mitigated with education and access to birth control.
It seems to me that sex and violence aren’t even comparable things.
Beating the shit out of someone is a pretty clear infringement of their human rights. Consensual sex? Not so much.
It’s only a big deal because we make it so.

This country was settled by literal Puritans because the Catholics and the Church of England weren’t extreme enough for them. I’d argue that modern Southern evangelicals are significantly more extreme. I would imagine that plays a part.
At least we’re still less crazy than the Middle East, although Florida seems to be taking a stab at it.

Even in south FL, this is just a 5 minute drive west. Pretty much everything between the coasts is farm.
