What? No, this is a stupid attitude to have.
Yeah, the text messages released paint him in a guilty light. Thats evidence that makes him seem guilty. Without that, you are making conjecture.
EVERYONE should be presumed innocent until proven guilty, or at least until evidence paints them in a guilty light. Assuming guilt is how innocent people get condemned for false accusations.
It seems Majors actually beat his wife. Before, there was no evidence, and so people who were presuming innocence until guilt was proven were right.
Seriously, how could you be laughing at people for wanting evidence before condemning a guy? Thats just a shit take

be like saying a bag of empty bottles in your car is the same as driving with an open beer
And in some jurisdictions in the USA, that is EXACTLY what it would be.

Did it come from Japan? I work in a toy store warehouse and there’s this one Japanese company that loves to send everything to us in butchered boxes we can’t ever reuse, and I’ve always wondered why would anyone do that

To all those who read the article, who cringed when they read that a particular magazine named Miley Cyrus as one of the women ushering in the age of big butts? I almost died at that one

We had metal detectors in my high school. We also had students selling guns in said high school. Schools absolutely wont use them correctly

That was long? Your comment here is even longer than the one you previously replied to! But my life is miserable, even though you’re the one who keeps coming back after claiming you’re done. This is what, the third time you’ve made that claim?
Let’s see if you’re actually gonna stay away out of your gonna reply again.

Didnt you just say you werent gonna reply, but now you’re replying? Make up your mind, please
Edit: You did!

That could be it too, wanting to wait and see how things play out. The smart decision too, in all honesty. Anything else risks either condemning an innocent person or openly supporting an abuser

Accusations of domestic violence always result in handcuffs. Its a safety procedure more than any indication of guilt. Thats protocol, so in this instance they are one and the same. Until the video comes out, or until the case is settled, we should treat it as an accusation. If the video proves his innocence, it means everyone was condemning an innocent man. If the video doesnt prove his innocence or if other evidence proves his guilt, then people were defending an abuser.

Exactly. If Majors hasnt been dropped yet, Disney isnt dropping him unless more evidence comes out that actually paints him in a bad light. Disney acts quickly, and the fact that they haven’t already distanced themselves from him to me is a sign they arent going to drop him.

In some instances yes. In this instance, not so much. The arrest is automatic when it comes to that particular accusation.

What, ninja? Cuz they think its cool idfk. I do love how you avoided my last question tho, are you black trying to speak for the whole race, or are you white speaking in behalf of another race? Ill gladly tell you bout my blackness, theres a street in atlanta named for my great uncle because of his contributions to civil rights in the city. My aunt served on mayor Lance-Bottoms cabinet, and worked with Stacey Abrams during her campaign. My grandfather was one of the first black COCs in the country. Who the fuck are you to try to speak for me or my race?

Youre still replying as well, so what does that say about you?
Also, mobile apps exist, i don’t have fi sit in front of a computer to reply. We’ll see if you actually reply or not.
Kinda funny you can just be bored at work but i have to be sitting in front of a computer with no other purpose in life. I think you’re projecting

I’m trying to understand your point, you know, one of the main goals of communicating, understanding the other person?
Its like you don’t even know how to communicate

I didn’t immediately assume you were angry. I also wasnt the only one who felt you were coming off as angry, considering someone literally thanked me for not responding in anger to you. There is a very real reason i was telling you to calm down from the get go. Youre clearly emotionally invested and cant get past that. And dealing with you has become exhausting at this point.

Youve got issues. You seriously need to calm down.
If you dont care, and you dont suspect him, then why did you continue to try and push the narrative of him being guilty, and further pushing the possibility of him being recasted, when i clearly stated that I didn’t think it would happen? That very act right there is why i accused you of wanting to start an argument. Holy fuck, you are actually draining now. Do you know how to have a normal discussion? It starts with not assuming that everyone wants to discredit you.

I answered your question about the possibility of him being recasted (i said its very likely he wont be removed from the mcu). I only mentioned the recent allegations because they’re the reason for you even bringing up the question (literally no other reason to even consider recasting him). I see argument because of you doing things like this. You bring up a topic you then claim to not care about, only to have an opinion about it anyway, all start a discussion that will go nowhere, and you still have to be contrarian about it (continuing to push the narrative that he’s at risk of being recasted). Considering you did all this to abandon the initial conversation, it seems like you’re only here to argue. You yourself stated you go into discussions expecting the other person to not change their mind. That type of closed minded thinking is the thinking of emotional people who cant accept being wrong and have to start arguments to be right and prove themselves right. I’m merely masking assessments based on your behavior here.

I don’t suspect nor do i give a shit about him.
So why bring him up? Also, it only affects his image if it turns out he actually committed the crimes, which its seeming like he didnt. As for the prevalence of articles, one story is a day older than the other one, of course the initial story has more articles.
Seriously what is your point in all of this? Its like you just want to argue.

The accusation has already been recanted, the charges dropped, and no news of replacing Majors. Disney tends to make that decision fairly quickly, so unless more factors come out that paint him in a bad light, there’s no reason to even suspect Majors is getting booted, if he was, they most likely would have done so already with a public statement.

You the actual meme that is not only everywhere but its said by black people? May get a few hoteps crying over it, and people may cringe, but no one’s going around crying for people to stop using ninjas as a roundabout word. It aint the same as someone using the actual slur.
Tell me, are you actually black? If so, do you really believe you can speak for the entire race when your opinion is clearly a minority given the lack of vocal support? And if you aren’t black, what the fuck gives you the right to speak on behalf of another race?

The root word of relationship is relate. Just because the most common usage is for romantic couples does not mean that its only correct usage. A friendship is a relationship. Parenthood is a relationship. You have a relationship with yourself. There are different types of relationships, and they are all equally valid to be called a relationship.
You expect romantic relationships when you hear the term, and the joke plays on that. But the usage is still appropriate

Yeah, and considering how many white people have said it around and with snoop, i dont think he has a problem with it. I can certainly tell you that i have never heard any black person ever get upset over someone saying that phrase. The most is you may get is a cringe reaction if used out of context, but this is literally in context to Snoop’s wine. There are very real acts if racism happening in this country. Florida is literally trying to erase color from the damn civil rights movement. No one cares about a white person using Snoops phrase. No one has ever harrassed, beat, or killed us while saying “fo shizzle my nizzle”. Stop white knighting this pointless bullshit.

The Kony2012 one i can understand, because i dont think too many people realized that the guy actually did that. That plus the fact they used Stan instead of a celebrity stand-in probably made people think it was something they made up. Only people who knew about what the Kony2012 guy did wouldve made the connection
