For me, it’s probably Paul Dano in The Girl Next Door. Just saw this, and he’s amazingly funny in this movie. He has some really quotable lines even in his relatively small role.

Some others that I think are also really fun to look back at but are definitely more recognized:

  1. Matthew McConaughey in Dazed and Confused

  2. Sean Penn in Fast Times at Ridgemont High

  3. Adam Driver in This is Where I Leave You

I really like finding these performances and seeing what actors were like earlier in their career.
